Great video, great work of you! Thank you dear for sharing with us! S-Merry Christmas dear Helen! Much love and hugs, Mirao much we can learn from this fantastic woman!
Can you imagine having a blind baby due to venereal disease, and the stigma it would have carried, not so very long ago? People would think it was punishment from the devil for having venereal disease. Bacteria and viruses have evolved along with humans, and morality has nothing to do with it. Makes me ponder what things we humans do or have today that, in 20 years, we'll look back on as mistakes in thinking. Depression maybe? Obesity?

+Helen Keller Yes, though many of us fear going blind more than going deaf, from a developmental standpoint, blind kids are far less isolated in the sighted world than deaf kids are in the hearing world.

Beautiful video.Helen doesn' t inspire pity but respect and admiration. I love her and i must admit that i sometimes envy her .We live in a world so noisy and unquiet that i sometimes would like to be DEAF. Sorry but i 'm serious.
Hi Frenchie. Thanks so much for stopping by. I'm glad you enjoyed the little video. Yes...the noise of the modern world is often very distracting. Although I believe that Helen Keller once said that if she had the choice of being blind or deaf, she would choose to be blind." Because the deaf are so isolated from those around them". I hope things are going well for you. Best wishes!
+Helen Keller Yes, though many of us fear going blind more than going deaf, from a developmental standpoint, blind kids are far less isolated in the sighted world than deaf kids are in the hearing world.
But if you were deaf you would wish you could hear.I believe Helen said if she had to chose which sense she could have back she would chose hearing.I would rather have sight over hearing.
