Really it's very deep understanding. if you asked yourself what's the life. There's nothing. But if you can follow the sentence. You can sit all ways very peaceful. you can understanding what's the karma. Everything is reaction what's your doing. No body can challenges. there's completely freedom you can select your choice. There's is no band. you can do everything. But there's reaction

    - I think Einstein is correct. I cannot judge him, he is definitely more intelligent than I am. However, in this case, I understand what he is saying.
    - Buddhism is the best thing I've found in my entire life. It helps me in every situation. No matter who leaves, the Buddha's wisdom stays with me. It's my best friend now.
    - I believe buddhism has transformed me from the unhappiest person to the happiest. I've finally gained control over my mind, something I never had before.
    - It was like, I had been running endlessly in a rain without knowing the right path to the destination & then found an umbrella. Now, I no longer feel the need to run. I can find the path & walk to the destination.

I never knew that Einstein shared his thought about buddhism, but i came to the same conclusion due to followings:
    1. Since we can live/build only in accordance with the laws of physics, a religion can only be true if it is aligned with the laws of physics.
    2. Buddhism indroduced Karma. If you do good, you receive good and if you do bad, you will receive bad. The Newton's 3rd law states, that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. The pinciples are exactly the same. If a religion said their god can forgive all humans wrong doing, it cant be true. In contrast to other religions, Buddhism is never about forgiving its followers, but rather karma. if you punched a wall, you will feel exactly the same impact of your own force on your fist.
You cant transfer the pain to someone else and it is impossible.
    3. Buddhism is also teaching about reincarnation as the cicle of our life and beyond. It is exacly described in the 1st law of thermodynamics. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, only altered in form. Human is a form of energy, thus we are consuming food, and basically glowing like a walking light bulb. If we died, we alter in other form but not disappeared. It will keep transforming just like reincarnation described.

Reincarnation is problematic. My thinking is that the Jungian "Oceanic Feeling" is the epitome of human experience, perhaps a premonition of "afterlife/Heaven" if such a thing exists. At death (not meditation which is the premonition), the droplet (symbol for the soul or spirit or life-force/energy) returns to the ocean, as such the droplet ceases to exist - it cannot be reconstituted, only new droplets emerge... The Buddha was a mortal - I will not regard him as infallible or omniscient. Sorry to offend the religious if so done, almost.

@@paulalexander2740 Psychology (mind, behaviour, feeling, etc.) Is not an exact science. An “exact science” is one in which explanations and predictions can be reduced to mathematical equations very readily and reliably. Hence I would not take psychology into consideration. I also think there may have been a misunderstanding. A geometric form (droplet, cones, cubes, etc.) is not a form of energy. Energy can have different form such as electrical, thermal, kinetic, etc. Comparing energy with droplet is like comparing heat with an apple.

Living a philosophy of life as presented here as well as meditating daily, I feel more at peace with myself, very connected to the cosmos. Our physical compostion is the same as our universe. Great and interesting video, thank you! I didn't know Einstein had talked about Spinoza's god and neither did I know that Einstein had said something about buddhism.
It probably doesn't do anything for anyone to comment things here online, but Buddha's call to find out the reason for pain and suffering is just skillful means to make people do something to solve those issues and while doing so they realize that the questions they had in mind about the creation of the universe and everything else are solved simultaneously.
Maybe it could help someone if the meaning of religion is revealed? It comes from latin root re-ligare meaning to bind together or connect again i.e. make human being's experience whole (same root word with holy and health) and clear.
All nonsense about self development and such could be addressed by the words from a 13th century writer of the book The Cloud of Unknowing where is clearly explained how our experience of the self is the thing that keeps us (our experience of being) separate from everything else. And don't take me wrong, it is all good to try to develop the self and see how it works out. But what Spinoza, Gautama etc. talk about is something totally different.

Yes Hindu/Hindusim did have many great leaders with many Sutra texts but still cycling in 3 Major Realm (Material realm, Form Realm and Formless Realm) and although those realms take long long time to falling aparts , maybe billions or millions of trillions , eons but it still has the end state! What's happened after the end states? The entity would looks for the reincarnation into any would compatible to one's will to looking to attach to what's called "need to be existing" and so on the circle of will of wanting "existing" - see the nonstop circle of existence here? Circle of existence experience miserable lives, happy lives! (Doest matter being what being is existed like Gods, gods, human..etc anything has the end state and reincarnation and go on and on..) Buddha taught The Way to breakout that circle! Any of us really follow his teachings but more could not escape those temptations (being God can live eons, being angel could have super power, being human as billionaire millionaire could have many desires fulfilled etc...) Buddha teachings guide that we leave behind all those temptations we would found the way to breakout the circle - That's The Way - a few could do and Buddhism practitioners would continue practicing The Way to break off that Circle!
Nivarna is the state out of scope in 3 Major Realms - no word , any words can be described Nivarna! only one can experience and feel!!
(I do not think God or Gods care much about Nivarna since they have Desires if they don't they would not be existed in the current state they are !!)

Thank you! The content highly resonates with me at this moment. I've undertaken the following journey: brought up in atheism with Christian cultural background moving to Christianity itself (Catholicism), back to atheism through going to the historical roots of Christianity and through science education, next to spiritual atheism influenced by Richard Dawkins, finally moving to the point where science and mystery meet hand in hand...I am here! During one of my meditations, I found the time in the form we perceive it doesn't exist. The past and the present seemed to be going on parallelly. I didn't see the future, maybe because it is too much higher level for my mind. BTW: Shall I ask you for the source of the background music?

    Buddhism is not a religion.
Buddhism is an education of wisdom.
Human greatest joy is learning Buddhism.
Master Chin Kung said : in twenty years times, scientists will start to recognise and understand that Buddha's Teachings is the best science, best medicine, pinnacle of philosophy and perfect wisdom.
If scientists want to progress they need to practice meditative concentration to open up their wisdom.
Only with wisdom, can the scientists see what can't be seen or knowing that can't be known.

CHAPTER 3: THE JEWISH RABBI WHO SPOKE HONESTLY.
(Translated by Google translate with correction on my side.)
Today is May 28, 2024. There is a very important thing that I want to write about.
This is what happened, I was sleeping, and woke up at 2 in the middle of the night.
Then I monitored the Israeli PM (Prime Minister)…, then, I saw, there was someone who telepathically told him what I said 2-3 days ago, and I saw a story that brought up feelings in his mind, and I looked again and saw….
In the past, there was a Jewish rabbi (I also saw his face) and he said to this PM that this is (in his hand there is an ancient book) the true story of Jesus, then this PM did not want to accept it, instead he was very angry with this rabbi until this rabbi knelt down, very much begged and said that this is the truth. Then this PM in the afterward (when the rabbi had returned home), picked up the ancient book and read its contents and felt like there were no lies in its contents.
Then, I saw this rabbi said, that in the past, the Illuminati brought home a lot of books from abroad, and it turned out that they (or: There was one person) found out that Jesus was a "quick learner", and could immediately make his body walk on water, then this person said to Jesus that they (n.b: This person and his group) would spread the news to everyone saying that Jesus was the messiah sent by God, and this was intended to expand the power of the Roman Empire, and Jesus agreed.
Then after Jesus came to power, there were murders after murders, there were also pillages after pillages upon villages , and there were also human sacrifices..., then when people asked, Jesus answered: (That the act was) "To please God." And people were not suspicious of Jesus. Then later the case of Jesus killed an innocent old woman emerged, well..., that's when people started to be suspicious toward Jesus.
Then, the authorities began to try to arrest Jesus, but Jesus was not easily arrested, he always knew when someone was about to arrest him and immediately made himself disappear without a trace.
Then the authorities finally looked for a disciple or follower of Jesus, and this follower was a good person, and he did not believe that Jesus was the Messiah, and towards all the women that Jesus had seized, this person also did not touch, then, this person agreed, and then he mixed drugs into the wine that Jesus drank so that Jesus got very drunk in one drinking party, and the drunk Jesus was then approached by the authorities, and he was immediately beheaded right on the spot.
Then, I looked at another place again, why did the Jews want to falsify the truth of history, then I saw someone, and in a meeting, this person said to the others, that this Jesus was brought up by the Illuminati, and this person suggested that the story of this Jesus be kept secret by writing two books (the old testament, and the new testament), in the first book, the old testament, everything about God's hatred for humans was written, then in the second book, everything that was good was written, and of course people will choose the good, because human nature is like that, namely liking to choose the good, so humans will believe in this second book.
Then this person said that (the goal) is to "inspire humans of their inner wickedness."
Then this person said that this new God wants to expel the former God, because the former God (the former God of the universe) is a weak God, and the current God is an Almighty God. And this person said that they (n.b: He and his group of course) have received many prophecies, and the prophecies really scare them, they are afraid that this world at (such and such a time) will experience bad events.
Then when I went back to sleep, I had a dream, there was someone who sounded the sound of a whip repeatedly, so that it was heard through the dream in my sleep, and I immediately woke up from sleep, and I immediately understood everything, it was this person whom when I was sleeping earlier, imagined me coming when he asked me to come to him, and I came voluntarily to him because I felt that Christians could weaken the threat that they could pose to me. So when this man saw that I still wanted to approach them, then (this dream that he made, happened, the meaning of which I knew.) This man was very influenced by the old testament book (which contains all of God's hatred for humans) and he thought that he had to respect God's commandments, and could not disrespect them, therefore he sounded as if with the sound of a whip being beaten on the ground, which means that people who do not follow God's rules will be punished. So I who saw this, thought, although it is clear that both books are lies, but Christians now consider both (the old testament and the new testament) to be true. Then this incident made me aware of Amitabha Buddha who had forbidden me, namely according to the writing I wrote yesterday, chapter: PASSCODE, namely when my mind flashed a little sense of awe at the book written by the Arahat but which had fallen into the hands of Christians, but when a glimmer of awe arose, at that time I thought of the Christian female shaman (as her story can be read in that chapter), so He forbade me not to be amazed or glance at them, because it has the potential to bring danger to myself, so after seeing this dream and knowing all its meaning, everything was in accordance with His advice.

Why not accept simply that science and religion belong to different domains? Science proceeds on the basis of hypothesis testing, experimentation, and revision of concepts. Religion is about revealed truth or truths which never change and which are a body of doctrine expounded and defended by believers. There are lots of different religions. There's only one kind of scientific approach. People of faith should stick with their faith. They don't need science. Einstein is admired and was a genius in physics, proceeding on the basis of what other great scientists had accomplished before him, from Newton through Maxwell to the Michelson-Morley experiments on light which showed there's no mysterious ether. Einstein's theory of general relativity had to await confirmation by astronomical observations and even now more than a century later, recent observations, like of gravity waves continue to be made consistent with the theory. Gautama Siddhartha Sakya, called the Buddha or Awakened, built on speculation by philosophers in the north of India, early Buddhism developed in dialogue with the philosophy of the Upanishads. Mahayana Buddhism developed in parallel with classical Vishnu devotion. Concepts such as "karma" and reincarnation, or liberation, belong to tndic religions and culture. They are not universal truths. Gravitation happens to be the same everywhere even if the actual magnitude varies.

@@Jana-rb7jq Thanks. It's possible to see in Buddhism a set of techniques for encouraging pro-social attitudes and behavior and self-control. Every religion is a way of structuring minds and to give meaning and guide people's lives as part of a group. It's part of personal and communal identity, like nationality or ethnic label, passed on through family, class, and society of birth, and exposure (or lack of exposure) to other ways of looking at the world. That's not true of science.

And the problem (I think) with people sticking to their religions is how deep they get in the dogma which is based only in faith. All that being said, I do believe there is a connection between science and religion.

There is no connection between Buddhism and science. In Buddhism, the existence of objects is considered an illusion, with everything being a creation of the mind-even the mind itself is viewed as non-existent. Understanding this non-existence is central to Buddhism, while science takes an entirely different approach.
