I love and appreciate your viewpoint. I just couldn't stand Chelsea it was so triggering to watch. For me I know it's just a show. I do believe Jimmy should have ended it sooner it was going to end badly because of her reaction. But he wasn't embarrassing her like Clay did in front of family and friends and Clay was selfish and was smiling when he was breaking up her.
Respectfully, as a person on the ace spectrum.. telling your partner you don't want sex SHOULD NOT be an insult. It's not 'a low blow' it's communicating your needs. Also the fact that he cries during sex is super concerning. He said several things that really made me wonder about how many f*cked up relationships he's been in before. The fact that Chelsea was THIS unhinged and he didn't just walk away.. concerning. I hope he gets some therapy too. But yes, absolutely best case scenario that they did not go through with it.
but he didn't communicate his needs, he should've told her that BEFORE the sex or said afterwards that maybe they can slow down, not throw it in her face during a fight with raised voices that he actually would like it less, that's not how one communicate one's needs properly.
@@carrained sure, ideally. The whole relationship is a mess and he shoulda known better than to engage with drunken Chelsea but .. we can't all be perfect all the time. And this girl's insecurities must've stretched his patience to the limit. Also I find it so incredibly RICH that she says SHE walks on eggshells around HIM when he literally can't say anything even remotely negative to her without triggering a whole episode. I'm so glad these two did not get married.
@@carrained he may have tried which is why she often has to initiate but maybe feels guilty for not wanting sex as much as she does and her desire for more sex might come from a place of insecurity. Like she may not feel loved if he doesn't want to have sex with her so it makes their experience quite negative for both of them.

I've never had to communicate that with any one of the four partners I've had so I can't speak more on this, I just felt that that wasn't a constructive way to say it 😅
I feel like people have such a bias towards AD when her and Chelsea are V similar. Chelsea is just the version of mental health/ issues before going to therapy but just bc someone goes to therapy doesn’t mean they’re magically healed. Therapy gives you the tools and space to learn how to balance your mental health with the world you’re living in. Yea AD has gone to therapy but she has not implemented the lessons I’m hoping she learned abt herself in her everyday life bc she literally repeated the same cycle she explained she always goes through. She chose a guy who from the pods wasn’t mentally in the space for marriage but then blinded herself with how Clay looks and the great words he said but chose to fog her mind to see what she wanted and not see what was actually there. Like he kept bringing up all these things abt cheating and his dad and how he doesn’t think he can be loyal and if AD really used what she learned through therapy she wouldn’t have blinded herself. No hate to anyone on the show but I don’t see how people dog on Chelsea (she has hella problems that she needs to work on for sure) but not AD (who still has things she needs to work on). But lmk what you guys think.
Yeah, Chelsea externalizes making it everybody else's problem and AD internalizes by (subconsciously) repeating patterns and self sabotaging, but they are both driven by their own (massive)insecurities.

About the high dollar fine, I wonder if they actually follow through with that. 🤔 or MAYBE they offer to waive that fine if the couple does certain things for the ~drama~? BUT ALSO notice how all of the pod people almost always have these high paying jobs 🤔 so they are usually well off enough to pay it I guess if things don’t work out? Just guessing. 🤷🏻♀️

it's just easier to see it with Chelsea because she puts it on other people, ADs struggles are more internal and less explosive
