- This is my second trip visiting my parent's creek in southwest Ohio to look for fossils. This time I brought my oldest son Joseph and my nephew Camdon to help me find some awesome fossils...and boy did we ever.
I have one more Ohio video to upload soon. I explored a new (to me) road cut just north of Cincinnati and found a lot of great Ordovician fossils there, too.
This video was filmed on July 10, 2024.
Thanks so much for all of the support, I appreciate you guys!!
God bless!

Amen! Praise the Lord!
Wow, there are a lot of horn corals out there! I think it’s great to include the boys in your fun hobby❤
@@soul_adventurist thank you! We had a lot of fun!! 😊
The honey comb type fossil is a Tabulate coral called Favosites. It is actually referred to as a "Honey Comb coral" for that honey comb appearance.
@@paleo1019 thank you!! I was thinking it was a tabulate coral of some sort, just didn’t know which. I appreciate you!
This creek is amazing , so many great fossils coming out of there. Those Cephalopods are spectacular, probably my second favorite fossil after trilobites , that was a great video Joe I Loved it
@@huntingrocks thank you so much Jeff!! I kind of changed up my format a bit with this one. My fossil videos never do well with views, but I have fun finding them and making them so I’m going to keep on doing them when I can.
I hope you’re doing well and I look forward to your new video coming out tomorrow!!
I read it's a private mine, I needa go places with you! 😅😅😅 I wanna find fossils!
@@Lucia_SpiderRabbit yes, the creek run through private land that my parents own. We always have a lot of fun exploring around down there!! It’s neat holding history in your hands when finding those fossils. 😊

Please explain.
What is a horn coral?
What are these cephalopods?
I live in this part of the world and have not heard of either one of these.
