Imagineer Scott Trowbridge announced Star Wars Land along with an upgrade to Star Tours, Season of the Force entertainment and much more at the D23 Expo 2015 coming to Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
What he means to say is faster than me running Beggar's Canyon with my T-16

Because, unlike what seems to be the rest of the universe, I never really liked Star Wars. And, I loved Tomorrowland even though it seems like Disneyland doesn't care about it anymore, becoming lazy about coming up with genuinely unique ideas, and rather just allowing the fandom of one movie series to carry them through what's probably the lowest point of Tomorrowland in its history. It seems stupid to limit one expansion of the park to one franchise. I mean, look how Toontown worked out. I don't see Disney pulling this one off (sorry, Walt).
ShoMeSho i've been telling alot of ppl this. tommorrowland and star wars actually have alot in common. to me, walt would love this idea. i mean, technically this is what tommorrowland was designed for.high tech space exploration new worlds.... all f that is what tommorrowland was built for. its like a precursor to star wars. it would seem odd if star wars was kind of brand new. like no one has ever even heard f it new. then it would be a bit of a error. (most ppls reason for the epcot frozen thing) but its sound and very much attached to what tommorrowland is.

one thing I was worried about was that they would be taking down Toontown at Disneyland. From the look of it, the expansion will take place in Tommowoland considering they'll be incorporating Space Mountain and updating the Jedi Academy. The Magic Eye theater, Innoventions, and Starcade will be gone I'm assuming.
I've heard it's tommorrowland too. I only started hearing of Toontown just a few days before the expo.
Actually, tomorrowland is getting a new event were they update space mountain for a while.

After visiting Disneyland, I was not expecting going back. But after this news, looks like I'm returning! Hype is real!:D

+Zachory Fierro Disney hasn't announced if it will be seasonal or if it's just for this year. My guess is it would have to be seasonal, I suppose it all depends on how successful it is.
I'd imagine that it would be seasonal because Space Mountain is a classic and people will be very unhappy if they completely scrap the original version.

I'm not excited for this I think it's cool but it shouldn't be a land of its own and it shouldn't be so huge... I think that Disney really could've thought of something better. Star tours is already enough! And tbh I don't think Star Wars should have its own land. This makes me have mixed feelings I'm not very pleased with this idea. But you know what would. Be great is a sugar rush/wreck it Ralph ride. Star wars shouldn't be such a big part of Disney... Oh yeah if you think that it's a great idea good for you. I don't think it's great because I've never watched Star Wars so yeah go yell at me for not watching!!! Your welcome
That's your opinion. The thing is it does make sense based on popularity and longevity. I'm not saying you should love it but it does have a edge already. That's all.
+Debbie Luceros Hey! I really like that "Wreak it Ralph" idea! Have it take over the current Star Tours building when it moves to Star Wars Land. It could pay homage to the attraction that came before Star Tours at that location, "Adventure Thru Inner Space" and also the Starcade. But instead of being shrunk down to the size of an atom, we are shrunk down to the size of pixels and into "video space".
Erik James but which park though? fl or ca? in fl, the star tours building is staying. it would fit in at epcot since thats a science style park or tommorrowland.
In California. The building that Star Tours is in now, used to be the building for Adventure Thru Inner Space.

Disneyland sucks and no one is going there due to California's drought. WDW has the largest amount of people going to its park compared to other Disney parks. WDW DOES deserve more rides than DL...

WDW is going to be better than any park with Star Wars Land, Toy Story Land, the new Avatar area at AK, and new parts of DD (now Disney Springs). Disneyland Shanghai looks cool but WDW will always rule.
