I'm an INTJ and went to a shop with someone who I'm sure is an ENFP and she was acting crazy like this as well, and so picky when choosing items! But I wasn't as annoyed by it. I was just fascinated and I loved watching her bunny hop around the store but I didn't tell her that.
+MyersBriggsRelationship so true. My favourite part was the "What if the one I don't pick get its feelings hurt?" haha cause that goes through my mind ALL THE TIME when trying my best to make simple decisions
INTJ here. If I were that INTJ, I would not be as traditional or as contradictory. I would play along ... for the sake of personal amusement because all the stress that accumulates while seeing how everything around you contradicts with your logic HAS to vent out through methods ... that might involve out-of-character moments. INTJs energize with discovery but can also refresh with the occasional out-of-character moments.
ENFP here, married to an INTJ and this is so accurate. My husband hates that I want to chat with everyone I meet. And he likes to divide the grocery list into categories to make it most efficient. We really challenge each other but we’re also obsessed with each other.
"If I could live here..." "It's a grocery store, you can't live here!" This makes me feel like you are an ISTJ, not an INTJ. An INTJ likes thinking of these possibilities, even if it's not realistic.
No, we don't. You're thinking of an INTP, who will gladly ponder any and all possibilities without regard just for the intellectual exercise. INTJs are more selective about what is worth pondering, and whether or not it's realistic is not the point. Some unrealistic ideas are worth exploring and others are not.
I think she may be referring to the need to correct people and try to make them understand they are wrong, that sounds like ISTJ/ESTJ for sure.. INTJs don`t bother with that, we just focus on the final goal, as in "getting out of there asap", so we may play along...we don`t go around correcting people, specially if they are close to us.
Oh god..my ENFP friend is constantly indecisive, it's driving me nuts: Friend: ''I like this one, but the other one has better packaging'' Me: ''Hurry up, or I'll make the decision for you..'' Friend: ''Which one would you pick then?'' Me: *picks the one with ''uglier'' packaging* Friend: ''Ok, let's move on...''*stops*''BUT WHAT IF THE OTHER ONE IS BETTER?!'' Also, Bailamos!:)
khamza111 I am an INTJ and struggle with some decisions. I always have to way out the pros and cons of each option to make the best educated decision. I don't like having to make a decision without putting thought into it.
obsessionsofadancer so glad you can relate! Please continue to keep watching- here is our most recent video ruclips.net/video/TwU-PSALI64/видео.html ~Kelsey
Huge fan! I'm ENFP and my roomate is INTJ too, and she told me to bring grocery list everytime I go to the store. It is efficient and make my grocery trip faster. If I don't bring the list, I'm exactly like in the video and end up buying both items that I cant decide on.hahaha thx to INTJ!
HAHA that's totally how I (ENFP) am! It's grocery store, but I'm still in awe of how it's organized, how everything is at arms reach, the concept of the exchange of currency for packaged food .... The only difference is I'm not quite as crazy around strangers due to social awkwardness I'm trying to deal with
NinjaPotatoGaming - Thank you! Cant wait to hear more from you! And if you love punch line endings you should check out our most recent video for sure! ruclips.net/video/TwU-PSALI64/видео.html ~Kelsey
I'm an INTJ but for some reason, I relate a lot to ENFPs. While I can choose some items rather quickly after researching the products (Yes, I do that. My sisters still tease me about how I looked up the best kind of cat litter), I can be indecisive when it comes to food, drinks and entertainment. I believe it is because of my maximizing nature and since my taste varies somewhat, it is a harder metric to analyze. I think it may be my ENFP sister that's the influence. I'm especially "ENFP-ish" around her.
Haha ENFP here (or ENFJ, still curious) and im the exact same when it comes to how much energy around supermarkets and talking to stangers anywhere and just bonding, its soo much fun!! Haha
Well I’m an ENFP and I definitely don’t act like that. I always write a list when I’m at the grocery store to be efficient, sometimes I plan for one or even two whole weeks, so I don’t have to waste even more money and time for things I could forget. The only thing I can relate to is talking to strangers, but the real kick for me is to get to know the staff better. Why? Because I love to joke around and it’s quite hilarious when their response is like “Oh no, why are you here?! The sun is out 😉.” with a big smile on their faces before asking me how I am doing today.
LOL, aww I feel bad for being so uptight to my ENFP. But I get where you're coming from. My ENFP isn't as passive, he loves to contradict me just because and even just say things that get under my skin.
***** -- I feel bad sometimes too, and even given in such as in our first video with the tacos. OR in our most recent video where I end up almost killing myself by jumping in a lake :) ruclips.net/video/TwU-PSALI64/видео.html ~Kelsey
I'm definitely Alyx. I'll go into the store for a liter of soda, decide I like walking around (it's something different to do), find things that I want but didn't know that I wanted, take 5-10 minutes deciding whether or not I REALLY need it or not, decide I want it, take it with me to another section of the store, realize I want something even more expensive, then have an internal battle over what I want more. Note that I usually have money for both items. -_-* Another ENFP shopping habit: yesterday I found this Beenie Boo Grey owl shoved on a random shelf in Michaels and I carried around the store with me because I wanted to buy it (I'm 26 btw) and I felt bad because it was all alone. But then I realized that I didn't need it so I put it down on top of the adult coloring books and posed it really cutely so when people come by it has a fighting chance of getting a forever home. I wanted it to live happily and be loved by someone! Oh and sometimes I'll buy the ugliest or most unwanted things. Like I go into the plant section in Lowes or Kroger and buy the plant that's marked down to $1 because it's dying. I see the benefit in this because 1. I'm saving money and 2. the sick plant is going to get taken care of and loved. Because of this I've found out I have quite the green thumb! Who knew?
It's not so much that she's talking to a stranger it's WHY is she talking to THAT stranger. If an INTJ can't see the benefit it isn't worth it and it doesn't make sense.
when my mom brought me to the grocery store or when we went shopping during the sales when I was a kid I used to daydream about the store being my house. And it was all about where my room was, the kitchen was, the living room was… I just forgot about it and thought I was the only weirdo doing this but thanks to this video I remember about it now and I guess I wasn’t a weirdo, I was just an ENFP
I’m an infp. I relate to enfp here and then there are some things I don’t relate too. I’m like a calmed and chill version of this and I won’t randomly talk to strangers
As an ENFP I relate to alot of this, but I do like somewhat of a list. I love grocery shopping though and often have a hard time with decisions... And I love new things and talking to strangers! 😂
Does anyone else help complete strangers find things even though you don’t work there? I will literally walk around the entire store with them until I’ve found the item they are looking for instead of just saying “aisle 6” or whatever. But I don’t strike up conversations with them, unless they do it with me.
Bailamos!!! I started singing along but then it got cut off!!! 😡😡 Anyway I'm an ENFP and every video on your channel that I've watched is so accurate omfg. Especially this one!!
The INTJs wouldn't argue, it would be amusement mostly, except for the one or two items that no ground shall be given because of what ever rabbit hole of research we went down that one time we were drunk and decided, I cant remember why, that only one shall remain...
I'm a INTJ, & idk..I find Alyx soooo annoying but at the same time very funny & attractive. Her style of clothing & bubbly nature is what kinda gets me
My sister is an INTJ and I am an ENFP. We have watched many of these videos and find them to be quite accurate. (though I think you come across as a little subdued perhaps because of the camera. IDK but we find some of your segments seeming like deja vu.
lol alyx is so silly ^^ but she demonstrates the perfect Ne and Fi, however you 2 have to make sure demonstrate the enfp's disillusioned, dark side once in a while, i find that many people forget about that. very fun video! ^^
Thanks for the suggestion! I've been trying to think of ways to incorporate that, but it's a little more difficult because most of my dark side exists internally hahah. But I'll see what I can do! -Alyx
I'm an ENFP but somewhat shop like the INTJ does. However, the indecisiveness part is soooo me lol. And although ENFP, I ALWAYS have a list when shopping lol. I can't be effective without it (I'll be too random and not get what I really need). Oh and talking to random people is fun!
Some thoughts #1 I can see why INTJs sometimes get called "old souls" as they matured faster. INTJ : ENFP dynamic here is like an adult versus impulsive child (but fashionably dressed) and the "ooh shiny" moments #2 Who's holding the camera ? and wonder what looks you got from the other Safeway shoppers
I'm ENFP with INTJ bestfriends. This sketch series look more like ISTJ - ESFP to be honest. INTJ will just direct and let go then focus on their errands while helping ENFP once in a while. I also don't just go about feeling things to buy. I appreciate organizational benefits although it may not be my strong suit. I will have a list because I am not good at memorizing things and easily distracted and I will be annoyed by it later on. However I am also open to buying things that seems nice at that moment. I kinda can't relate with ENFPs depicted in these series. I don't see the quirky dynamic and the back and forth fun interaction elaborating on possibilities and dreams that ENFP-INTJ usually have.
I would be hyperventilating shopping with ENFP by now or anyone other than an INTJ. I loathe shopping and I especially loathe the music that the stores play. My routine: List, only shop at stores I know by heart so I can get in and out quickly. Only shop at stores I can find a parking spot quickly. Only shop at stores I know checking out is quick. Oh' and only shop at stores with bargains and real food. The only thing that slows this lab rat running through the grocery store maze is checking the ingredients in the food. That and only that slows me down. I'm on a mission to get back to more interesting things! :)
INTJ Muse - I used to hyperventilate and now I just have to be snarky to get through haha Would love to know your thoughts on our most recent video! ruclips.net/video/TwU-PSALI64/видео.html ~Kelsey
+wonderer2 I'm exactly the same, even about checking ingredients- you can also add to the list only shopping late at night or early morning. The last time in years I shopped at like 5 p.m. I couldn't STAND it, I kept thinking, "Why does everyone have to be so slow, AND bring their entire family? It's the grocery store not an amusement park, don't you people want to hurry up and get home so you can do more fun things??"
as an INTJ, i'm strangely a mix between these two. i only make lists if there are items i absolutely need, or if i'm on a tight budget, but otherwise i just go freely to enjoy the grocery store atmosphere AND to throw whatever i want into the cart. i'm pretty quick and decisive on the foods i want though, cus i know what i like and don't like. i would never entertain a thought so random and nonsensical as living in a grocery store, unless someone else brought it up, and i would never do anything potentially embarrassing like that little football thing she did or socially awkward like saying more than 3 words to a stranger. meh, pointless comparisons, but still.
I hope this is a joke/ exaggeration from the ENFP side. Ironically I relate more to the INTJ in this video. The ENFP is just my silly indecisive side but it doesn't even closely represent me holistically. I read labels, I focus on the nutritional content, I like to know where my food is coming from and I will avoid certain products for instance - those with palm oil.
I think someone's mis-typed... or just... got a really perky Enneagram, because beyond the talking to a stranger stuff, and the occasional purchase paralysis (for much more Te-led reasons than this), this in no way describes me. Maybe this is the subjective portrait of her supervisor talking.
Oh just thought of this: Alyx, do you see an item and then go off on a long monologue either about that item or an idea connected with the item? Fake example (note this happens in a matter of seconds): you see a Snickers bar which then triggers a memory of your best friend in preschool who always got a Snickers bar in her bag but she never shared. Then you think about how rude it was that she didn't share which triggers memories of other people in your life that don't share. So then you rant to Kelsey about how rude the human race is, how we shouldn't be here because we just destroy things, blah blah blah. But all Kelsey understands is that you looked at a Snickers bar and then wanted people to die. XD
I'm an INTJ and went to a shop with someone who I'm sure is an ENFP and she was acting crazy like this as well, and so picky when choosing items! But I wasn't as annoyed by it. I was just fascinated and I loved watching her bunny hop around the store but I didn't tell her that.
Mayron's Hideout 😏
Its so funny to me that people look at her acting and think its crazy, i feel like shes the only one in the store who acts normal
This is me and my best friend when we go shopping. It’s fun to watch them act crazy, but i’d never tell!
hahaa then im heere im an enfp
SO ACCURATE
Choosing and making decisions is harder than people think :(
~ENFP
Ayelet Zucker So true! And I always struggle with the easy ones way more than the more important decisions hahah. -Alyx
+MyersBriggsRelationship so true. My favourite part was the "What if the one I don't pick get its feelings hurt?" haha cause that goes through my mind ALL THE TIME when trying my best to make simple decisions
I'm INTP we prefer not to make decisions and just observe. im jk lol
I didn't know there were other people like me until i started researching enfp. This is fantastic
so you are a enfp-t, am i right? :p

I know I'm a INTJ and I'm not always as grumpy as the one in the video :D
I just want to reply to a 2 year old comment. Don't mind me. Oh and btw, I'm also an INTJ (INTJ-A to be more specific).
wkwk INTJ you needed calm down yourself if you walking together with ENFP.
Heh yeah no thanks. Ill keep my sanity and continue shopping like a normal person.
Yep, I'm an INTJ and this is definitely me in the grocery store. "Just pick one" and "Put it back".
ENFP here, married to an INTJ and this is so accurate. My husband hates that I want to chat with everyone I meet. And he likes to divide the grocery list into categories to make it most efficient. We really challenge each other but we’re also obsessed with each other.

yeah, same
I’m an infp.

I’m like a calmed and chill version of this and I won’t randomly talk to strangers

INTJ here and I also make lists ordered by department/grocery store flow
I'm an INTJ, and... That ENFP is so annoying and happy that kind of makes me wanna be happier
You guys are awesome! This is so accurate w/ my girlfriend (enfp) and I(intj). This vid is like so totes amaze-balls : )
I'm a INTJ, & idk..I find Alyx soooo annoying but at the same time very funny & attractive. Her style of clothing & bubbly nature is what kinda gets me
Is this the Safeway in Blundell Mall in Richmond? haha
As an INTJ I cringed so hard when she said "but look at the packaging!"

wow this is literally me and my bf he's ENFP and im INTJ, this is so accurate lol
hahaha i love that.I can really be indecisive too.I like to try out new things even if it's expensive.Less so when i have little money.
lol alyx is so silly ^^ but she demonstrates the perfect Ne and Fi, however you 2 have to make sure demonstrate the enfp's disillusioned, dark side once in a while, i find that many people forget about that.

Also being very amazing at comebacks, and using somebody's own argument against them! But in a loving way.
INTJ here. Separated by department, that such a great idea!
Being indecised about what brand of water to pick for at least 5 minutes Is frustrating (enfp)

Holy shit that Enfp is too similar to me haha
Is that the Safeway on Capitol Hill? I used to go there all the time when I was living in Seattle.
Hahahah love it and hate it at the same time !!!!

How about INTJ taking out items at checkout to cut costs...
I would pull my hair out.
plot hole! the goldfish were on sale, buy one get one free there is no reason not to by both! Check mate atheists.
I'm laughing of myself to see INTJ awkward moments
So.....INTJs are assholes is basically what I'm gathering from these vids lol

I think someone's mis-typed... or just... got a really perky Enneagram, because beyond the talking to a stranger stuff, and the occasional purchase paralysis (for much more Te-led reasons than this), this in no way describes me. Maybe this is the subjective portrait of her supervisor talking.
AHAHA I CAN TOTALLY RELATE TO THE ENFP PART XD
Oh just thought of this: Alyx, do you see an item and then go off on a long monologue either about that item or an idea connected with the item?
Fake example (note this happens in a matter of seconds):
you see a Snickers bar which then triggers a memory of your best friend in preschool who always got a Snickers bar in her bag but she never shared.
XD
Not really giving you intjs a good rep lmao LET US VIBE BROS WE JUST VIBIN

I don't understand why INTJ are supposed to match well with ENFP. The ENFP I know are trash and I have no respect for them
