Well, after watching one of your videos for the first time a few weeks ago (so glad I did) I sat down, made a budget list and BAM! I could not believe each month how much we actually could save. I figured out what we actually needed to spend and how much we could put in for spending for ourselves, how much we can afford to put in a safety deposit box, and how much we can put into out debt snowball. You are truly a gifted person who has helped myself and countless others get our finances back on track! Thank you so much for what you are doing. I know you usually do a zero based budget, but before you plan your budget do you usually pay yourself first by putting money into a savings account or one of the cute cash envelopes? Or do you wait until the very end to see if you have any money left over? I don’t know if I should roll over extra money to the next month or just save it and start over for every month.

I’m only 13 but I’ve already made this system for my allowance... but of course I don’t pay all those bills yet! I’ve used this for like 3 months and every “pay check” I get is different amounts... but I normally get $10 maybe more.. maybe less, every week for baby sitting, homework/good grades on test, dishes, vacuuming, cleaning the room, etc. but so far I have saved about $100 from it! I’m doing this when I get my first real job this summer and for the money I get for Christmas! thank you for the tips and cute ideas!
on another note wash tape is so expensive, how much would you say you spend on stationery a month? I haven't seen that in the videos yet either, do you give yourself a budget on that too?
