Cetatea Rasnov (Citadel) Incredible Fortress in Transylvania

The Cetatea Rasnov (Citadel / Fortress) is an incredible defensive strongpoint, high on the hill over Rasnov town, in the heart of Transylvania.
The town of Rasnov is about 15km or 25 minutes drive from the medieval city of Brasov and equally the same distance from the famous town of Bran.
Getting to Rasnov is pretty straightforward from Brasov either by Train, bus or taxi. The costs for this are mentioned in the video.
Whilst the INSIDE of the Cetatea Rasnov has recently closed for 3 years renovations (March 2020) you can still walk around the outside grounds and see the stunning views, and that makes it still worth a visit.

@@MemorySeekers Hi guys, thanks for answering, I loved every single video from GB.and more, I'm glad you enjoyed your time around my gorgeous country, you definitely must go back exploring other places like Maramures or Viscri where price Charles bought lots of houses,keeping the traditional villages alive .He felt in love with Romania, as he is related with Vlad the Impaler, and also Mary the Queen of Romania was the granddaughter of Queen Victoria ! As Queen Victoria used to be called "The grandmother of Europe " she married her 9 children with lots of crowned heds around the Europe. Congratulations and carry on with the magnificent work!💯👍

Well said underrated place in Europe, Brasov Rasnov and Bran are some beautiful places in Romania. But you should try Busteni also and go up on the mountains!
