the formula to work out the thread depth for metric thread is:
Formula: 0,6495 X Pitch (2)
0,6495 X 2 (2)
=2,598
16 - 2,598
=13,402 Minor diameter.
if you want the thread height. the formula is:
0,6495 X Pitch.
in this case it will be 1,299mm high.
