I literally just paused season 6 episode 1 and came to watch this video. Everything makes more sense now, back to my episode I go. Thank you for this recap!
You’ve filled in some gaps that were nagging me. Thank you! You must’ve aced writing précis in high school English - you took many convoluted story lines and summarized them in an easy-to-grasp manner. Well done!
My favorite line...."she took an oath, it is i who kills for her". I live in these books. Ive read them all and audiobooks have taken it to a whole new level as i love Davida Porter, her voice and passion rings true and another wonderful layer of the greatest book series. I've received many "thank you" notes in the mail for introducing them to Claire and Jamie . Thank you for such a world.
Because in reality its impossible to live in peace especially 300 years ago in the time of wars diseases peolpe believe in myths and bullshit , 50% chance of giving birth , most children die young, severe punishments by goverments, level of rationality and tolerance among common people is very low as well as low IQ , poverty , slavery , famine, basically life was hell for most people in the 18th century .
Bless you 🙌🏼 I’m finally starting season 6 after waiting forever for it to drop on Netflix and realized I forgot most of what’s happened so far 😂 this was perfect.
The hand??? Really ? ... he was a protitute's orphan raised in a brothel and finally raped by Jack Randall!!!!! ... poor lad ... he will never be happy after this past
yeah he's one of my favorite characters. Surprised he hasn't been raped yet but I'm sure it's comin lol, if he's still alive. I don't remember cuz it was a while back that I watched this show
Excellent recap ! I’ve been watching this for years but could never bring myself to rewatch due to my anxiety 😏 . Very appreciative of this ,there was so much I had forgotten.
For the season finale, I would like to see the whole family go home to the future and live their lives out there in happiness, plenty, and finally also safety in that beautiful house Claire had imagined. That would be just perfect.
I stopped watching somewhere in season 4 and have been thinking about getting back into it but didn't want to rewatch from the beginning again. Came across this video to remind me of everything before starting back up where I left off... but I couldn't bring myself to stop the video & kept watching to see what happens. I usually avoid anything that has spoilers but this was so good that I couldn't help myself. Thanks for making this video. Amazing job!!
Damn! Well Done & Thank you! I’ve watched the series on Netflix several times ... now impatiently waiting for season 5. You even answered questions I had or missed!
I've never watched Outlander, but I do want to understand why so many people love it. This helped as I don't really have time to watch 6 season right now.
Love the books, I need to rewatch the series, I haven’t even watched season 5 yet, the differences from the books to the show kind of bother me, but I really like the Outlander universe, so it doesn’t ruin it. Good Recap
Had to watch this because I'm emotionally not even strong enough to finish season 2 😂I need to know everything will be alright before I'll concider watching the episondes myself again 😂
Does anybody else notice that young Willie doesn't look the least bit like Jamie? They could have done a lot better casting a kid for physical likeness (even though the acting performance was good enough).
Omg… 🙏🏾… but why did I keep replaying the part when I believe in season three after Jeanie starts a printing press (secretly treason) And they say young Ian, son of Jamie and Ian…… how can he be the son of Jamie and Ian (Ian is a man that married Jamie’s little Sister and had young Ian) anywho I love your content I Netflix binged seasons one through five and didn’t do anything for days because I was so glued to the television so when season six came out I was lost on what all happened so this is a godsend of a recap no matter how confused I got about young Ian
I could have done with a bit less homoerotic torture, personally. I get it, they had to make Jamie vulnerable to shift the power dynamic between him and Claire but I honestly think one or two episodes of homoeotic torture would have done the trick. Felt a little gratuitous.
Yeah, I started watching it for a good costume drama and some time travel, but between the unabashed porn, the homoerotica, and the unrestrained depiction of extreme violence, I wasn't sure it was worth watching more. I did watch seasons 2 and 4 (I wanted to see what it would be like when they went to America), but the story lines became increasingly far-fetched and repetitive. There were some appealing characters and storylines - just enough to make me come back as much as I did - but this video filled in the gaps for me, and I don't think I will bother to watch the rest.
Derp…um…wasn’t it only one or two episodes where Jamie is raped by that hideous creature Jack Black? (I think that was his name?} Is that what you’re referring to? Sorry I’m unfamiliar with the term “homoerotic torture” but am guessing u meant Jamie’s rape scene? And did it really go on that long?
Question....at ayrdmuir prison in season 3, Jamie is in chains. In season 6 flashback with Tom Christie he is not. Is this an error or did the chains come later?
Watching this recap, this is what I got: that I somehow magically forgot all the violent details of the plot! P.S. Thank you, this video is exactly what I was looking for!
How could you forget them? This show has me super depressed and disturbed. Way too much terrible things happening to the people we love and not enough happiness. :(
Hello, thank you for this great recap, i have one question, how did the gazette magazine knew that Clair will go back in time and die in fire? ( because Claire is from the future, how did they know that she will travel back)
Damn um..alot of rape . And hella violent. Not what I expected it to be. I see why its popular but I dont kno if I can watch from day 1. I already just ache for them to just be happy in love and life together 😢
I stopped watching around season 3. Thanks for this. Wanted to catch up but can't actually handle the wtf-ery lol. This show should have a crossover with Prison Break.
I literally just paused season 6 episode 1 and came to watch this video. Everything makes more sense now, back to my episode I go. Thank you for this recap!

I genuinely forgot Roger was the ancestor of Geillis and Dougal...thanks for the reminder!
Why can't Claire and Jamie just live a happy life finally?
Right man 😤 lol
Cuz then the show would be over.
That would be a pretty lame show
Because Diana Gabaldon is a bit evil, ha, ha

That scene where Fergus loses his hand absolutely breaks me every time… 😣😭

wait just realized he was raped as a kid, I FORGOT lol. I though it was odd that any character anywhere wasn't raped lol my bad

Why? The present timeline is super boring... seriously.. everytime there's a scene of the present I legit almost 💤 💤 💤 💤 💤
There’s a bunch of them that can’t travel to the future, such as Jamie, Fergus and young Ian though
I love Outlander so much!
What a brutal and fantastic show this is!!!! I wasnt aware of all the history accuracy behind and now its even more impressive!
I stopped watching somewhere in season 4 and have been thinking about getting back into it but didn't want to rewatch from the beginning again. Thank you so much for uploading a recap of all the past seasons of this brilliant series. I shall watch this first before I begin watching season 6.
You just saved me a month's worth of weekends binge watching this. thank you.
Wow!! Thank you so much! I’ve watched a lot of these and this one is by far the best.
Damn! Well Done & Thank you! I’ve watched the series on Netflix several times ... now impatiently waiting for season 5. You even answered questions I had or missed!

Thank you for this! I very much didn't want to rewatch 5 seasons that I forgot. Lol
Good work sir. 👏🏼
Thank goodness for you! So informative and helpful
Wishing Season 6 were free. Broke my heart to realize Season 5 finale was all there was on Netflix.
Yeah disappointed season 6 wasn't free on Netflix
I’m an Aussie and we have season six avail on Netflix??
@@CastledarkDweller27 as do we stateside but not free. Might be miserly but honest.
Yay, now I can watch season 6 in peace. 😂 Thank you!
Doing the lord’s work with this recap.
15:31... kinda forgot what roger looked like without a beard lol
I think this is the best Rodger has looked so far. His character is really growing on me.
Thanks so much, great recap!
thank you! I really needed this after two years!
Thanks so much for making this! I had forgotten a lot of the plot
Outstanding recap!!!

Watching this after season 1, i am so good i cant handle this kind of emotional turmoil 😂😂
The perfect review doesn't exist..
Very well done. Thank you.
Well done with the recap.
Was mid season 2 when I realized this show is too loaded and dramatic for me. But I need closure, so thanks for the video!
Thank you so much for this video!
Finally a great break down kudos good job
Thank you! Super concise and to the point 👍🙏
Awesome great video great show
Had to watch this because I'm emotionally not even strong enough to finish season 2 😂I need to know everything will be alright before I'll concider watching the episondes myself again 😂
Yes I'm trying to and it's so heavy 😂
Very helpful thank you
this was a great recap- Thank you!
Damn! That's a wild show! Great recap!
Super helpful!
This show is insane
Thank you so much! 😊
I know it had to go for a recap, but the Master Raymond storyline should have been winked at.
Thank you 🙏🏼
I didn’t Realize it was a flashback because Jamie’s hair looks so different because of the wig. I don’t like the wig I miss the curly bangs
His Season 1 hair was so beautiful
@@tasha1357 it really was
Yes I guess they did that to make him age
I heard Sam (Jamie) was having some kind of reaction to the hair dye.
@@janw2405 oh really … didn’t know that . He looks good regardless
Thank you!
dude thank youuu
Best on screen couple ❤
Does anybody else notice that young Willie doesn't look the least bit like Jamie? They could have done a lot better casting a kid for physical likeness (even though the acting performance was good enough).
yeah he does not look like Jamie at all.
Book Willie has brown hair, not red, but he has blue Fraser eyes ❤
It is so worth it.
Thanks!!
Thank you so much

They say "Jenny," not "Jamie." Jenny is Jamie's sister.
As someone who's never watched a single episode of this show.
WHAT THE FUCK
You are the best.
Wow, amazing, thank you!
Wow. How did you do that?
I could have done with a bit less homoerotic torture, personally. I get it, they had to make Jamie vulnerable to shift the power dynamic between him and Claire but I honestly think one or two episodes of homoeotic torture would have done the trick. Felt a little gratuitous.
It was terrible I had to fast forward thru it

Strong telenovela energy
Season one, amazing. Beyond that, it makes me want to Kms, disturbing and depressing
Ma man. Thank you!
God this series is fantastic
Nice outlander series.
Can you do recap in details season by season? It’s too short and many details are not mentioned 🙃
Ideal recap didn't exist until it did
Question....at ayrdmuir prison in season 3, Jamie is in chains.
In season 6 flashback with Tom Christie he is not. Is this an error or did the chains come later?
21:19 servant? Is that the word you were looking for, mate? I somehow feel there were less syllables involved.
Netflix get your kaka together and put season 5 on already.
I was rewatching the show but I couldn't bring myself to rewatch Stephen Bonnet so I am skipping ahead but I still don't remember much
Don’t know why season 5 and 6 are not on Netflix. Dont want to pay for stars just to watch it. Have also read the books the series is very close
season 6 recap plllleeeaasseee

Hello,
thank you for this great recap,
i have one question, how did the gazette magazine knew that Clair will go back in time and die in fire? ( because Claire is from the future, how did they know that she will travel back)
I stopped watching I guess during season 3 or early season 4, and I’m glad to know Claire FINALLY
“invented” penicillin
yeah like everyone has forgot .
Damn um..alot of rape . And hella violent. Not what I expected it to be. I see why its popular but I dont kno if I can watch from day 1. I already just ache for them to just be happy in love and life together 😢
Omg Clair does something stupid and Jamie has to save her 😝
Why did gaeillis have to kill for it to work when Claire just walked through m
The first five episodes were on Netflix (Canada) but not the 6th. Where can I watch it please!
Try 123 movies that’s where I watched
F movies for bootleg Apple TV if you want to pay
If Jamie gets killed off I want watch anymore .
wait ok so Laoghaire never actually got her divorce settlement money? I never realised, holy shit 🤣
I stopped watching around season 3. Thanks for this. Wanted to catch up but can't actually handle the wtf-ery lol. This show should have a crossover with Prison Break.
god i hated every scene with brianna
