It's definitely built well! I'm going to try stump pulling next.

Pull it tight first before feeding it through the puller so you don't have to crank so much

Do you use a recovery strap at the other end of the more power puller?

Is that the 2 ton or 3 ton. Really nice come along. Looks worth the extra money if you ask me.

Is there anyone that I can ask some questions too about the project I'm doing? Dm or anything. I have a 4 ton puller and I need to pull a 30 ft tree with a 14-7 inch diameter. The tree is fallen with roots exposed. I need to pull it 90 degrees to cross a river. How would I go about hooking everything up? What rope or chain could I use that's long enough to cross the river to another tree. Help would be highly appreciated

I haven't tried pulling stumps or trees with root balls yet. Might be easier to cut the tree from the stump before trying to pull it. Sounds like you have a unique situation with a river crossing. Might be worth having someone take a look at that one.

Line was to low. Get that pull line at least half way up the tree.

Not the best line of fall, possibly because the pulling point was too low on the tree being felled or notch was not aligned correctly to the intended fall line.
No issue in this location but not the best result if it was more critical.

Thanks for the feedback. It actually fell where I wanted it and in the direction of my notch cut but you are correct in that I didn't have the strap high enough. It took quite a while to bring the tree over with the lower pull point.

@@combaheeoutdoors1663 Thanks for your clarification, hard to tell from the. Video where you were attempting to fell it. Love to have a Puller like that, you certainly used it effectively.
