While HC probably thinks SQX’s attitude/personality is ridiculous, he doesn’t ignore the fact that SQX and XL are good friends. More importantly, SQX helped XL when he had no reason to, which also helped HC’s opinion of him. HC and SQX being friends isn’t that hard to believe.
This is my biggest complaint about the books, they were too god damn short. There were so much more to explore. HX and SQX's relationship post "the incident (tm)" would have been sooooo amazing to explore. Like what is HX's thoughts and feelings after completing "the incident (tm)". What does life look like for him after completing something as massive as he did and does atonement actually exist? So many questions that are left open which is cool and all but I would have loved to see the author's ideas as well. Like if she made a sequel that focused in on more HX and SQX's relationship I would 100% buy it specially if they somehow did not turn out to be a romance but something different. Also side note when it came to this part of the book all I could think about was Whoville in "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" when they all came together and held hands around the tree hahaha

I also just like to think of this about how real-life is. Sometimes, between two people with a lot of history... you just don't get a conclusion. Especially after something as complicated as this.
This is so well done! It makes me feel happy for our baby Shi Qingxuan that he got his moment to shine once again and prove to all of his beggar friends that he's a god. This should have been the moment where he ascended again. Just imagine, him now being called "The Beggar Who Saved The Imperial Capital" and going down as a legend and a hero. 😭🥺
I headcannon that after a while he does manage to ascend again as a god of generosity. Patron to the desperate, homeless, and destitute. All offerings made to him become donations to those in need. It’s like, if people want his blessing, they have to first help those in need. His temples become like homeless shelters.
@@Levsa399 The way he would do that too! Shi Qingxuan is just the best and has a compassionate and righteous heart. Alought being the god of generosity works, I imagine him being associated with freedom too. He's just so friendly and outgoing.
Ohhhh this is SO GOOD!!! The subtelty of "Hua Cheng" having the one very long bang like Ming Yi is 👌 I love how you animated all the action, too! Shi Qingxuan getting ripped out of the circle is so sudden and the roll looks rough without being too violent, and the way you did the wind is so cool!! And of course all of Wind Master's expressions are so cute, your style is so good 🥺♡
