Cornish is over 100 years old as an institution and barely has an endowment over $10MM. Obviously the college is in financial dire straits...if there are rich alumni...it's time for them to step-up!

By comparison, Seattle U. was founded only 23 years earlier than Cornish and has an endowment approaching $250MM.

"Kerry Hall, the three-story studio and performance hall at E Roy and Broadway where Nellie Cornish called home at the time of the school’s 1914 founding and part of the school for more than 100 years.
Nestled in the Harvard Belmont Landmark District, it exudes a timeless architectural appeal with its white façade and classical design elements,” the school says in the announcement. “Inside, it houses classrooms, studios, rehearsal spaces, and a large performance venue. It is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places."

Still new-ish to Seattle I didn't know about the history and since they didn't cover it in this tiny segment I thought I'd plagiarize the web and post this here.
    What a beautiful building!
I hope for the best for the building and I wish all the dancers that have had the pleasure of dancing in this building wonderful careers in the arts!

Call Bill Gates... That building is the coolest. Really wish it could be historically registered. ❤

Kerry Hall is already on the National Register of Historic Places. Whatever renovations occur won't change the historic facade of the building all that much.
