I will suggest not to use without antenna as u might risk destroying the board of the ur goggles . Also more than antenna i think it's the vtx power which makes the difference
I don't think it works that way, you can only fry your transmitters (radio for example) without an antenna, not the receiver (goggles). As for the output power - you're right, I've seen a very small increase of image quality on 300mw compared to 25mw, but in the end if you're flying in a small or medium-sized apartment it won't matter at all.
@@Old_Mozek yes at least in my house i hav never gone more than 25mw . The receiver is generally hot after a session so I'm assuming some kind of thermal problem can happen if antenna not there is recept the signal and over heat
@@kushalshally maybe you're right, who knows. Everyone says it's fine, but I'm not going to test that for sure :) A bit of flying without antennas didn't hurt at all though.
You can just google "fpv bands" and there will be a table with frequencies and bands. Then in Betaflight while connected to your drone go to VTX settings and there you can select the band you want to use. For indoors as far as I know R8 is recommended because it goes higher than wifi. If you were asking about "center frequency" for the Foxeer antenna - it says so on their site under this antenna's page. I'm using SKY04L goggles.

@@Old_Mozek I'm waiting for a video on how to flip and roll for beginners
@@kushalshally haha not sure I will make it, it's hard to do those indoors
How do you know the frequency to set it at the bottom right video.
And what goggles are you using
