That's what I wanted to hear from creators, I've never made an account on freelance marketplaces ever and I've managed to scale my one person business to a decent number
    Great video Brendan🙌

As a customer, I also don't like Upwork anymore. The reason is they charge fees from the client side and today it is hard to find talented freelancers. Looks like most top-rated are out souring work to some junior freelancers.

It’s tough for the feeelancers when so many people come on hoping for low costs and they have to bid against dozens of people just to get a gig! That’s why I don’t recommend these platforms. Much better ways to do business

Hi man, I am an experienced marketer and Media buyer who wants to get to freelancing.
I just want to really say, Man really solid well organized advice from you in few minutes. Others spend hours in video content with mostly a whole lot of BS advice or just time waste and to win views. Great concise up to the point targeted content

It is very important to mention that freelancing in the area of consulting and helping companies out in projects should only be done if you have a ton of experience in a particular field the company does not find experienced people for. It is not a job you can do in your twenties because you don't have such a deep expertise you could market successfully. Get skilled in a needed field in your industry and work in some companies for 10 to 15 years and then you can start thinking about freelancing.

I don’t think it needs to take 10 years but I agree, providing real value is critical

Great video! Some freelancers make $21 an hour others make $250k - that’s how percentages work, what’s the bell curve? Also, please mention the Malcolm Gladwell’s 10,000 hour to become a “professional” - at 6,000 hours- you can teach

Great point about teaching after 6,000! Yes, there’s a bell curve, but it skews heavily to undercomoensated in my experience

Brendan, appreciate your videos but personally think the soundtracks are detracting from your presentations.

    Hello,
Your content is very nice and interesting. I like it very much. But one thing makes me feel very sad that you are regularly uploading videos with so much effort but your content does not have enough views, likes, comments. That is because your channel has several problems in your channel due to which the right audience is not coming to your channel. The only reason for the decrease in your channel is that the SEO of your channel's videos is not done. If SEO is done properly, then these problems will be solved. As a RUclips expert if you want I can work for your channel for free for 2-3 days on a test basis. Then if you like my work you’ll hire me. Thanks.
