People always want to compliment the pitcher for throwing this hard but no one ever gives respect to the catcher for being able to catch it. I can tell you from experience being a catcher for 18 years catching something that fast isn’t easy.
@@poindextertunes the worst thing that can happen to a catcher is if he gets crossed up. When that happens your glove feels like it weighs a million pounds.
Watch the batters front foot on each pitch. 1st pitch he lifts full foot and by the 3rd pitch he just pivots the toe. Cool seeing the hitter make real time adjustments
It’s been a few years since I have followed baseball heavily. Since when did it become normal for pitchers to constantly throw well above 100 mph? 10-15 years ago it seemed like an average speed for starters was around 92 with only a handful throwing 3 digits. It seems like today that would be good enough for A-AA.
Pretty much, and the gifted athletes who can get to 100+ are gonna have kids who will most likely have the genes to throw the same and it’s gonna go up through generations, a few MPH at a time. With substances like spider tack I’m sure Ben Joyce could hit 107-109 no problem.
That last pitch was a change up
😂
No chance
2mph less with not much movement though
See what I mean 😵💫
@@Randomcarter250missed the joke bud
"Benny with them Jets" 😮
Nothin but GAS! - Cedrik
No change up no curve ball
Saw it live last night! Shit was a laser beam.
Joyce: Come get it... if you can.
The crazy thing is ... With this kind of velocity, his change-up will be better.
Absolute gas
A 103 two seamer starting in the same tunnel as two nearly identical 105 four seamers isn't fair.
shit is dirty...
its other worldly
"I'll go a lil light for the last one, buddy". Syke!! Lol
I get it now. The 110mph to 120mph SuperCruise was too much to imagine 😂😂😂
I see he layed off that last one a bit lmao
Pitching Ninja, awesome video it was really good
Damn. Throwin straight heat

could you imagine if he threw a knuckleball the next pitch? i would just fxcking quit 😂

weak... 😑
Has this guy ever pitched an immaculate inning? If not he will! 🤯
poor bobby didnt stand a chance
We are in the future, imagine if all the Old school ball players could see this....
Mets need him
U gotta swing when he lets go of the ball
I watched this and _my_ elbow blew out. Thanks, Ninja.

My elbow just snapped
When you can hear it on the audio.
3 pitches combined for 313mph 🤯🤯
103 changeup has him way out in front.
Bro you have to start your swing before the ball even leaves their hand to catch up to that velocity.
105 gets in there quick 😂😂
The ball move so fast it just wont come down
Ok he has to go for the record.
GoVols!!
Gasolina 🔥
Can't imagine trying to hit one of those 😂
Our forearms would explode on contact 😂
Bobby who?😂
How does his elbow not disintegrate
It already has once.
Cant get mad at dude for striking out there
Poor witt, at such high speed even offspeed pitches of -2 mph can be devastating
🔥🔥🔥
Who even needs a curveball with that heater?
I remember this was a prank in 1987 sports illustrated issue, now it's reality. It was a fake Mets pitcher, able to throw 105.
Sidd Finch.
Can’t even see his hand launch that thing

I miss having a pitcher with an arm like this on the Phils. Ben Wagner could throw some heat
His bat path isn’t even close to where the ball is. That says it all.
You can’t hit what you can’t catch!
Full TJ Surgery inside two years.
K animal eeeee dia👹
Are pitchers evolving to the point where 100 and over is gonna be the standard?

The power comes from those buns
Jeeesus
Kevin might be right…. Lift small bunt the ball😂😂😂😂 it might end up 99 off the bat ands in the corner for a double just making contact
Even the best player in mlb
As humans were so limited in physical abilities its sad
I love it. Wasn’t he in the minors last year ?
That arm is incredible! But how long can the human arm take such abuse
what do you do with 105 on the corner? thats unfair
Yikes 😬
Sure glad he plays for the angels… It’s where good ball players go to become irrelevant
Thank you for making such great content
🥭
all kinds of surgery about to be happening
That’s why you enjoy it while it’s here. He has already had TJ.
Till the wheels fall off my guy
