nice and sinister - never thought of using noise input for the resonator, i just used the strum/gate/trigger. This is definitely going into my next patch - thanks!
Found this channel today through curiosity and the desire to learn as much as possible about this truly amazing instrument and all it's modules and I have to say I am beyond impressed with your knowledge and patches! While I've been making electronic music for above a decade now I am a complete newbie when it comes to modular and patching and was wondering if there's any chance of getting a tutorial on how to do something similar to the patch you show at 4:31 but with the addition of being able to play notes via Midi CV please ?? I would be eternally grateful to say the least
thanks for your attention and feedback! Yes, I can try to do come tutorial on getting melodic harmonic stuff with vcv and come MIDI CV, thanks for the suggestion! Will think about that
Great ideas, however I was never really convinced by Rings as a resonator, i.e. processing sound through it. I find that no matter what I do, it of all sounds kind of samey and a bit thin to me. And mind you, I have the actual physical Eurorack module, which sounds a bit better that the VCV version due to its built-in amps which are specifically tailored to its sound.
Mind Blown! Excellent tutorial! (BTW, those sounds are so incredibly dark/industrial ambient that you just injected me with a tidal wave of new ideas! Thanks so much for this!!!)
This is all really good stuff. You obviously spent some quality time with the resonator... :)
One of my go-to modules. Thank you for the excellent demonstration, I picked up about twenty new ideas from you. :) Rocking good video, Artem !
Great ideas and some earth shaking sounds. Thank you Artem.
That part with Vessek at the end is quite nice, and very convincing. Nice work!
this VCV channel is so underrated, subscribed! Please do one or two more series of this!
thank you! did you mean series about the Rings?
yes, exactly!
I think it will be a new kind of tutorial video in near future that will include Rings patching also. Thank you for the comment!
This was most enlightening
the patch around 15:15 might've convinced me to get this. i use a lot of noisy field recording-type sounds, love how it brings out the frequencies.
I have also played a lot with Resonator, very underrated module

you are welcome!
this is a great video. i think it just sold me on a rings module
Or install VCV for free?) thx btw
Superb! Thank you 🙌🏽
To me, Disastrous Peace (from 5:58) sounds like the music near the end of 2001: A Space Odyssey. Most impressive!
Thanks! I should use it more then

this is great!
thank you) Resonator is on fo the unexplorable module I think...
Nice one! thanks
The first patch sounds a lot like the ambience from half-life games
Nice!
patch number 5 remembers me a Lee Gamble track.
thank you! which one? from the last album?
@@VCVRackIdeasruclips.net/video/P8OkNjMjWv8/видео.html from the Koch LP , but after listening it's quiet different. -)
