You gotta understand that the reason Ange is continuing to play this way is to build a winning mentality. Ange feels that if he goes out and parks the bus that it is teaching his players that it's okay to just get through things and it's okay to play safe and to do the bare minimum to get by. Ange doesn't just want his players to play for a point agianst top sides, he wants us to go toe to toe with these sides with the intention of beating them no matter who it is and the best way to do this is to try to score more goals. Why play for one point when you can play for 3 points. Sure you might get exposed and destroyed at times but that's the price you pay when you try to win. This is how he is thinking. Its not that he is naive or stubborn. He is doing this deliberately to build a winning mindset. To create a winning mentality and a winning culture. The best way to do this is to play positive football, take the game to your opponents. Attack, press relelntlessly always try to score goals. Putting ten men behind the ball and playing it safe is not a winning mentality. It demonstrates weakness that you don't trust eachother to get a victory and that you are scared or worried about the threat your opponents possess. If you approach games fearless and with the intention of winning eventually you will reap the rewards
