Our Blessed Lady at Melleray Grotto expressed :
I WANT THE PEOPLE OF IRELAND TO CONVEY MY
MESSAGE TO THE WORLD
As Ursula O' Rourke looked up at the statue she noticed that Our Lady was moving. First she thought that it was her imagination and she looked away several times before she finally realised that she was looking at the Blessed Virgin Mary.
A strange feeling came over me which is very hard to describe. Tears came to my eyes and I pulled my hands up from my sides, joined them and then blessed myself. I said to the Lady you are the Queen of Heaven. She smiled. I kept exclaiming, why me?
Why did you pick me , Why ?. She smiled again and then I said, Please Bless all my family. She smiled even more. She did not speak to me during the vision.. The Lady described by Ursula stood there, her gown blowing as if in the wind. Her hands were joined in prayer and her head moved in a very slow reverent movement, North, South, East and West. The green shrubbery all round her spun. It formed a very dark green, which made Our Lady shine brightly.
Leaving the Grotto I walked wishing to be respectful and keeping my eyes on Our Lady all the time. As I came out my sister Mary was at the gate and I broke down and cried crossing the road to the car. We all returned to the Grotto, Our Lady was not as clear as the first time. I heard John say Our Lady of Lourdes pray for us. I knew he could see. Mary was down at the rail shouting Look Look.
Speaking later Ursula said that no words could describe how beautiful Our Lady was.

knowing what we know now I can't help but wonder why Our Lady never touched on the glaring issues of abuse within the church and specifically the actions of the clergy. But that the world must "behave and stop fighting" and that she wants us to know her message is "peace and prayer".

I really am so glad I came accross them today by accident, I was in Waterford at same in 1985 and travelled to get there. I have great memories. Thank you.

OUR BIESSED Mother appeared at Mellary in 1985. Many, many miracles happened to people who have visited there since. Many miracles have happened as at result of prayers and petitions to Our Lady at Mt Mellary, by the believers keeping the many night vigils, and the day vigils also. Our Lord,appeared at Mt Mellery too. He, himself blessed the water there, which Is miraculous water, I can testify that it is a truly holy and wondrous place. I have been to many vigils there, as have many others from around the world. I can honestly say that Our Lady of Mt Melleray changed my life

1985 I think. A lot of unexplained things to do with statues happen in ireland that year.
Where is Mellery where our lady appeared
It's in North West waterford. Near a town called cappaquin.
