Unlike Troy Chorky wasn't even interested in the talent show, he was only looking for his missing his invisible space cat yet he ended up in the talent show either way.
*Them singing the whole time and then resorting to talking for the talent show despite the piano on stage is a beautiful detail*
I don't know what I love more: this brilliant new storyline and how well it fits, or the fact that the original movie can easily be cut down to 20 minutes without missing any major plotpoints or songs.
