Jane is a high-ranking member of the Volturi guard in the Twilight Saga. She is the older twin sister of Alec, and together they are the Volturi's most powerful offensive weapons.

I loved that after using her powers for so many centuries; she meets someone who is actually immune to her powers and her lack of physical combat being totally non-existent that she runs away from a fight that she could have won if she bothered to learn how to fight.
The way Alice came after her for causing Jasper's death via removing Bella's focus that allowed him to both fight and almost win but was stopped and then killed right in front of her, was so justified that seeing the fear on her face was just priceless in my opinion.
And her dragging Jane to Sam ❤
Her having a 12 year old body also meant that she likely would have needed to train extremely hard to overcome the size and strength difference.
But she likely never bothered to learn since she always had someone to do the physical fights anyway while her insanely powerful gift allowed her to keep safe distance
If Jane had decent physical combat skills, she'd be the most dangerous vampire in the entire saga. She could've easily went after Bella and taken her out as everyone else was distracted in the fight.
She’d still have the body of a 12~13 year old girl. She and her brother were tiny and would struggle in physical fight
I like how every person crumbled to the ground getting hit by Jane's power except Jasper. Jasper was strong enough to resist somewhat, enough that he was the only one that ever stayed on his feet until he was pushed.
Jane & Alec had such interesting powers (no wonder Aro was so interested in them lol). I wonder if we'll see more of them in the Twilight reboot series that's supposedly in the works.
I don’t know why they are thinking about a tv series for twilight like harry potter we all see how the lord of the rings show is doing…… twilight unlike Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings is an incomplete story.
Stephanie Meyer is working on two more books to complete the story like Harry Potter. The Volturi aka Twilight’s Voldemort hasn’t been defeated yet which is why Stephanie is coming out with more books lead by Renesmee and Leah and Bella with Edward and Jacob along as well. So why make a tv show now when those two new books will become bestsellers as well and need to be turned into movies as well? Taylor Lautner already is against the tv show idea.
@@fisherjohnson3440 I don't know why so many properties/ franchises are getting a TV reboot tbh (i.e. Twilight, Narnia, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, etc), but I'm not against it as long as they're done justice.
The Twilight Saga had *plenty* of issues (stiff acting, cringey writing, Renesmee's creepy CGI, etc), but overall I acc really enjoyed the films tbh (especially the world building), so personally I'm open to seeing it get rebooted if it's done to a higher standard/ better quality.
I didn't acc mind that they didn't defeat the Volturi tbh. I know some ppl think the final battle/ ending was a cop-out bcos no one died & the Volturi get to keep going, but I liked it tbh.
I'm glad none of my favourite characters died, & I think it acc makes sense for them to not wanna go after the Volturi unless they're defending themselves, especially since they know the vampire world *needs* a group like that to make sure they stay hidden.
@@tiago9977 Yeah agreed. Stephanie is writing two more sequel books. Because the Volturi won’t leave the main characters alone look up the Stephanie interview speaking about the sequel books.

She should’ve learned how to fight physically cuz of her gift being powerful she never had to use physical strength and no one ever really had such ability to mental shield
I wanna tell you something I don’t think it is was wrong that she didn’t learn how to fight physically because she didn’t need to until Bella arrived and also it is not that she didn’t want to fight ( I believe) but because she at the time before Bella she didn’t need to

During that time, Jane had someone else to do the physical fights while Alec’s power meant no one was getting close without losing all their senses anyway.

Pain inducement is one of the nastiest powers. There is literally no benevolent use of this power. Also the limit of her power resides in fact that the Jane needs to be aware of her opponent to inflict pain. If her enemy is too fast or discreet, he or she could kill her before she could use her power. Also the shield of Bella is just an uno reverse card and a bit unfair in my point of view.
And like going up against someone who can just drop you with there mind without touching isn’t fair 😮

She would literally destroy bella in 1v1 lmao . Just remember how Felix almost killed Edward in 1v1 .It would be basically the same .We're talking about a 3000 year old vampire who feast on human blood every day, against a very young vegetarian vampire.. Vegetarians are weaker . Bella is just very lucky because she had frontline to protect her but otherwise Jane is way stronger .

Just before Jane turned into a vampire , angry mad villagers tried to burn her on a stake. As the flames were torturing her , she started to feel enraged towards villagers . Then , when she turned vampire, all that rage and pain she felt was redirected towards the villagers . That's her power. She can inflict a burning pain. Wich is , btw , the worse pain in the world (worse than Childbirth)
That was so satisfying to watch Jane die 😂😂😂 Hated her.
