There is a cleansing , calming effect to watching Eriks films, if we still lived in a era of a mainstream media where a large percentage of the population watched the same thing I'm sure they would have been helpful and instructive and influential to inform people of the benefits of the outdoors, solitude and repetition , the calming familiarity of simple acts like making a drink or erecting a tent fully in the moment, but as we are not in that era I feel grateful and privileged to have happened across his 'channel'. Your work is appreciated Erik.

Just watched this one again for, oh, maybe the tenth time. I always come back to it. At timestamp 6:15 - 6:58, it's so...primordial. One can imagine a scene remarkably like this, at the same location, thousands of years ago. The audio quality is superb, as is the visual, throughout. I've not found better content/subject matter than here. Here's hoping Erik has the opportunity to film a few more rainy day episodes. Those are the ones that I enjoy the most. Great content, production and presentation. Cheers.

There was something provocatively classy about the stillness in rain droplets landing on your tent, and the clinking silent sounds of you pouring coffee from the pot then replacing the lid, and extinguishing your cooking flame... the birds faintly chirping in the background the grey sky and hush like movements of the gentle waves and your stoic stare out into the openness... one can only wonder what your thoughts were as you say completely motionless. This was extremely peaceful and deeply serene. Thank you for sharing your polarizing journey.

I like to guy out my TT Notch Li tent to keep it totally taut in winds, as you did here. I use my hiking poles for my Notch supports.
It's nice to be able to cook under the Notch vestibule in rainy weather. Same goes for my Moment DW. "Been there, done that."
I'm ready for Erik to go on a Newfoundland adventure with Justin Barbour. Or the other way around. Both are great ambassadors for the conservation of their lands, positive thinking and appreciation of nature!
