I read an article on an old 1517 years ago and probably diesel power magazine I’m pretty sure it was diesel power they talked about Cummins had an aluminum block engine 5.9 for marine application I’m assuming that article was on the open up and if that’s the case that would be a hell of a nice package anyway the Duramax I could see and that boat would probably be better than a Cummins because it’s I’m gonna be replacing a V-8 with a V-8 well that means it can fit better one of the problems with the Cummins just six banger is it’s long and it’s hot it’s tall it’s a hell of an engine I got a 91.5 dodge yeah I’ll give you three guesses what’s under the hood anyway I think the aluminum block would be a hell of a nice way to go anyway this is six in a row jim From Kennerdell Pennsylvania

I have a MK3 Marine bridge builders boat with twin 5.9 Cummins Marine engines with jet drive. We build aluminum docks. It pulls like a beast!
