thats exactly what I have always called them too! they were awes ome! I currently have Autumnal Park Cd in my cd, love it! People ask me whos that awesome band? I play it kinda loud you see :)
Dude, come on. This is clearly an overdub starting after the opening guitar riff. No audience background, no vocal warble as the singer moves around the mic. The acoustic effect at 1:23. Fun video for sure, but I a live video is not the same as a live concert.
@@missyglittervlogs3543 They were super nice! Their manager was after them to go and they said no, they wanted to meet their fans! I had a drumstick, but it's been lost over the years (sad face).
This band changed my life in 1984 when I first heard "Listening!" Sure they had synths like most other bands - but Brian Canham's rock guitar always gave the songs a home run!!!! Thanks for being a big part of my teens!
Awesome! Love the original line up. This was the best version of Pseudo Echo, with their best music being Autumnal Park. Should have been a huge 80's band. Needed to go to England. Thanks for the memories ...
StangQuest94 you probably are talking about the North American version of Love An Adventure, it had almost completely different songs (rerecorded tracks from 1984 album) than the Australian version
Yes I think you are right, would be North American version ( 86-'87) I had Autumnal Park in '85 I'm pretty sure cos bought it on my trip to Sydney in March '85. Funky town came out early '87, I'm pretty sure, and their earlier stuff was better!
I want the 80s to come back. I don't like the 2020s. Life was easier back then. We didn't live Paycheck to Paycheck, we could afford luxuries, didn't fear children dying in schools or have Politicians taking away our Medicare and Social Security. Remember when companies treated you like decent human beings instead of slaves? People were nicer to each other because jobs economy and the social climate were better. I want Nazis, KKK and White Supremacists to go back into hiding. Life in America today makes me so sad. Can't stand all this hate 😠 anger 😡 and open hostility. Makes me cry 😢 sometimes. Really wish Americans would stop fighting and killing school children. Love Thy Neighbor people ❤. God only wants us to love ❤ 💕 💞 one another. Peace ✌, Love ❤ and Happiness 😊 to all.
Grew up adoring this music, this look and following this band. The Aussie New Romantics who helped make the 80's still be the best period of my life. Psuedo Echo lead by Brian Canham are still touring and making new music.....not exactly the "fad" that several of my peers told me they were. This will always be one of those 80's songs that has the hair stand up on the back of my neck as soon as it starts, ....just like, "Save A Prayer" by Duran Duran, "Send Me An Angel" by Real Life, "Vienna" by Ultravox, "Blue Monday" by New Order, "Cars" by Gary Numan, and "Fade To Grey" by Visage. I could keep going, there really were so many great songs by so many great New Romantic/New Wave Artists.
Apparently Funky Town the single sold more than the whole of Autumnal Park. Brian Canham started pushing for a heavy metal band afterwards. The tracks in Race were very cheap. No substance whatsoever. They should have stuck to what they were good at, being dance tracks.
Alyssa BTS I Love Jimin I love all of them I'm pretty sure this guy mixed the studio version, because if he hadn't you would be able to hear the crowd while they're playing a lot more.
It is live and it shows how good the 80s were they didn't use auto tune like people do now the 80s used there real voice and pseudo Echo is incredible and Amazing
{FIRST_NAME} {LAST_NAME} wait now that I'm actually really listening to it, I really do think this video is live. I can spot some differences from the album version.
Wish our destination was back to 1984.
Couldn’t agree more. I wish we could time travel back
This track from Autumnal Park really failed to get the recognition it deserved,.
The whole album didn't get any recognition it deserve
The Australian Duran Duran. Pure synth pop from the 80's.
thats exactly what I have always called them too! they were awes
ome! I currently have Autumnal Park Cd in my cd, love it! People ask me whos that awesome band? I play it kinda loud you see :)
Sound more like Ultravox.
@@petersimpson8246 Yes. very much Ultravox. really similar to All stood still. The closest Duran Duran has to this is Careless Memory.
Ha, the first time I heard this song, I said 'This sounds like Duran Duran, but it can't be because it's good''
Also like ICEHOUSE
Amazing how good they sound live in concert.
Dude, come on. This is clearly an overdub starting after the opening guitar riff. No audience background, no vocal warble as the singer moves around the mic. The acoustic effect at 1:23. Fun video for sure, but I a live video is not the same as a live concert.
I was looking for a new-new wave band to follow! I literally found this band this week & I am all-in obsessed 🤩!!!!!
No one has even come close to sounding like these legends. Brian rocks!!
a cross between acdc, depeche mode, duran duran, Ultravox and the Thompson twins.
By far the best and only lineup of Echo!
85-88 lineup wasnt bad either ? Don’t know why they have been through so many band members
Who's Listening to this in (2019).
me
Me. Been a fan of them since 1986-87!
@@missyglittervlogs3543 Me too! Met them at The Bayou in Georgetown in DC.
@@mrskmac716 omg, you're so lucky. I just love all the boys. Can't pick a favorite

This group was on fire in the 80s. They had some cracking tunes.......
Wow....oh the memories of my youth. Still have a signed cassette of autumnal park.
2021!!! 🎧🎧🎧
energy pure huaaa!! ya no existe esta musica. pero la seguimos escuchando ochentero de cora. de mi edad
obvio que si, que lastima que pseudo echo no es un grupo famoso fuera de australia
This band changed my life in 1984 when I first heard "Listening!" Sure they had synths like most other bands - but Brian Canham's rock guitar always gave the songs a home run!!!! Thanks for being a big part of my teens!
Listening was 1983 though 🙂
Love Brian's deep voice! 🤗❤
Planet earth + sounds like a melody= destination unknown
I Love them so Much Brian is so Hot
was? still he voice still exists, and thats all that matters.
Why this band is so amazing!!
this bad was soooo damn good...way better than the funky town single...
Singer is channeling some David Bowie like crazy.
❤
Wore out this on vinyl!
This was the ultimate line up
I would have loved to have been their unfortunately I wasn’t ..😢😢
And The Song "Lucifers Friend , Vision" from the 80'
Awesome! Love the original line up. This was the best version of Pseudo Echo, with their best music being Autumnal Park. Should have been a huge 80's band. Needed to go to England. Thanks for the memories ...
They were in a number of countries, and had a hit single in UK remember-shame they didn't release any albums here though!
Where in UK you from??
Love this band. How come the song came out in 84 but appeared on the album in 86/87?

Why doesn't pop music sound like this today. This still sounds very fresh and futuristic etc.

These guys were regulation hotties back in the day!
I'm a fan of New Wave and Synth Pop in the 80's...

Pseudo Echo why did you change from New Wave to Rock ? I'll take this over " Funky Town " anytime.
+perpetual61 Definitly. Pseudo Echo were in their prime in 84. Loved their futuristic synth-glam look and awesome hair styles!
Apparently Funky Town the single sold more than the whole of Autumnal Park. Brian Canham started pushing for a heavy metal band afterwards. The tracks in Race were very cheap. No substance whatsoever. They should have stuck to what they were good at, being dance tracks.
And The Cockroaches became The Wiggles! Who saw that coming and the unprecedented success of that.
великолепный хит,почему то не признанный

He looks like a young Mark SHaw ..

bay city rollers
This song is ok but their cover of FUNKYTOWN killed any cred they had. lol
A Flock of seagulls is way better
I agree they're both Awesome in their own way.
