Johnny, I hope you never EVER need your electric company to do work on your property. The bill they will charge you to demolish that shed will greatly exceed any cost that you put into it. Question: why should people not “DIY” things? Answer: Because they don’t know the rules. There is a 3 foot clearance required for any electrical work to be done on your meter. If you are home, they will let you demolish it or move it yourself. If you are not then… It’s gone. Period. Also, If there is ever a fire involving anything electrical in your house….look forward to the insurance company denying your claim
