My apologies for fat shaming these fish. I realize my ignorance and hope to do better in the future.

The “creatures” like the one you zoomed in on are very plentiful in Harrisburg. Good video.
😂 thank you!
Love how dark those Fish are around you there. Great Video man! New Sub from a fellow Smallmouth Junkie in Indiana.
Thanks for the sub! That’s awesome. Yeah they can get pretty dark in the Susqy. Huge variability in coloring for some reason
@@GillRaker79 sweet man! We do a lot of wading around here, mainly small clear Creeks & Rivers. Cheers to the mighty Smallmouth!
@TrueNorthOutdoorAdventures Yes, cheers! My favorite fish!
Good fishn at city island! I’m like five minutes away from there. Caught my PB there las may. 20 1/4. Caught that on the kayak. Got a new 2023 G3 1448 with a 15 prop now. But I still take the Ebike down and top water the the steps in the evening sometimes.😂
Thanks! Dude that’s sick! That boat will do great there. Can’t wait til I get one over 20. Yeah I’ve got to try some more over by the stairs. Good luck man!
Nice video, can you please share the exact date that you where there fishing? The Susquehanna has been nothing but a big mud hole up North where I like to fish at for the month of September. Thank you and Tight Lines 😊
Thanks man. I was there august 8th. I went again late September and got my biggest ever. Still have to edit the footage for that one. Same techniques worked from this video
Where do u catch them in July? Do they head deep, mid river?
great video, what color crank bait were you using
I think it was called ghost craw
Nice video. What kinda boat u have? I have been doing bank fishing for a year now and want to get out on the water. Prob end up w a kayak tho
Thanks man. I’ve got a Lowe 16’ semi v hull. Yeah a kayak will be able to get you into the spots that are too shallow for a boat. It’ll be a game changer
Should of put in below the damn n fished it. We have had multiple 100+ days and also caught striper multiple times in the spring there
That’s a lot of smallies! I’ve put out at steelton and Middleton a couple times and had one pretty good day there. I’m going to definitely fish down there more this year
Nice video dude. Is your boat a jet boat or just a standard outboard?
Thanks! It's just a standard outboard. I definitely bang up the prop a bit in that area.
Do you have spot lock?
Nope I wish! Every time I let off the foot pedal to land a fish, I drift a good 40 yards downriver 😂
Can you eat the fish?why is that you caught it and just letting it go,?
It’s something called, “Catch and Release.” It’s a big tradition among people who fish for the challenge and sport of it. Now and then I’ll keep other species besides bass (they don’t taste that good) to eat.
@@GillRaker79 awww thank you for the info.I live near the area and just move here in the US 5 months ago..
Can't keep bass in that section of the river, they're protected by law
