I just actually purchased the premium myself a week ago and if I had SEEN this review before I purchased the premium I would have gone with the colors BUT I'm completely satisfied with the premium without a doubt! #SUBCRIBED
I have the red #1. It served me well for a long time. Only thing is the plastic release clip on it just broke along the crease where it clips on. I wonder if the metal clip on the premium will prevent this from happening.

I bought a whole set that came without the 0.5 and 1.5 guards. The guards that came with the set were black. I ordered the color coded 0.5 and 1.5 off amazon. The problem is they dont fit right and it pulls hair real bad. None of the origional guards pull so i know its not the blade. Will the premium fix the fitting problem? I assumed all wahl guards fit any wahl clipper.

I the color better they fit better and easier to grab quick because the memory with the color! Also I still use my Premium half guard and 11/2 but I feel the white 11/2 cuts smoother they should e made the premium 11/2 like that but that’s just my opinion!!
The only thing is if you are using the Wahl Crunch blade only the premium guards will work. Maybe the newer color coded guards will fit but I don't think so I'll have to check it out.
What’s up boss man, is there a guard that fits the wahls and the andis masters. The speedos are trash and break easy, especially the 1/16th guard that is perfect for fading out the line.
Thanks for watching. You are correct about the speedo. Those are the only ones I know of that fit both. You may just need to load up on them and expect to change them out often. I use the purple magnet nano guards on both. I modified them with liquid steel to fit my Wahls and the other set already fit my Masters
Ey bro, I'm new to this and I have a osters fast feed with the purple andis but they are too sticky on my head (the plastic is shiny) so I got the wahls color not paying attention and they didn't fit but they weren't sticky ( the gaurds were like matte and went sticky) will those wahl premiums fit my oster or will the same thing happen? If so what other guards won't stick that are matte?
Its usually the opposite. The shiny plastic should slide better. However, if any guard I'd sticking to your head you are pressing to hard. I use both types every day and don't have that problem. No the premium are the same size as the color guards. The fast feed come with their own guards. You must use those or the purple magnet guards.
If only Wahl listened to us and pod attention if they maid the color coded ones premium man they fly on the shelves

None of this stuff is meant to last forever. Barbers have to get use to replacing and upgrading equipment just like any other professional

The premiums cut so much better than the guards the magic clips come with. Cut closer, blend smoother much faster
