Won't lie to you, I was a tad bit nervous being up there for this one 🤣 and I know glad we caught it when we did, just had a huge storm today, would of for sure finished it off!
@@yourlocalwellman We have an Aermotor A702 on a 40-foot tower that the mast pipe broke on. It ruined the fan and the only thing holding it up was the pumprod. We eventually got up there and sawed off the pump rod which caused it to fall. That finished the fan but didn't crack the casting, the mount for the vane spring is broken though.
That was scary! Good thing it didn't fall and ruin the fan and the mill!

That's honestly super lucky that it didn't crack the pot, probably was best case scenario there!
Aermotor windmills are strong and durable, I love aermotor brand
