Heather Headley's Final Curtain Call in The Color Purple

Cast honors Heather Headley by singing "I Won't Complain"....
I had the honor of being in the building on this night and I can say it was the greatest... From Heather getting a standing ovation for "Push Da Button" (in which she started to cry afterward, which made me cry) to the extra little kisses and longer hugs she would give Cynthia throughout the entire show. Heather is just phenomenal in all that she does. I also have NEVER seen Cynthia completely break down in tears as you can see towards the end literally clinging to Heather and needing to be consoled by Danielle afterwards. This was the greatest night of my life and I will forever be thankful.
