I learned how to play this on my bass, a few days later I watched Adventure Time and the episode where Marceline plays this came on, my mom recognized the song instantly and we both were so shocked lol we had no idea that this was in adventure time😂
This song hurts me on another level, yet it’s my favourite. Reason being is tat it reminds me of my baka (Baka means Grandma in Croatian). She passed away before I could have any face-to-face memories I could remember. Of course she saw me as a baby, but not when I was older cuz we live on two whole different countries. It also reminds me of Granny, I only remember 2 memories of her one was when she gave me a chocolate pie, the other was her on her deathbed. I only said I love you bc i was to young to know she was dying, i never got to say a proper goodbye. “I look up at the gaps of sunlight, I miss you more than anything.” Hurts me so bad like it physically stabs me straight in the heart. It’s my favourite line. (Btw if ur gon comment don’t say “same” or “relatable” cuz, no, you don’t get it.
