I'm a 40+ year Nuggets fan, and I love Mike Malone, Revere Popovich, but Spoelstra, imo, is the best coach I have ever seen. I don't think Phil Jackson could get the same results with the same rosters, except those Heatles. My Nuggets are imo the best team in the league with an elite coach, but Spoelstra always makes me nervous. Shout out to Heat fans for having that GOAT.

Shaq was right. The thing that stuck out to me was the others stepped up. Tyler Herro with 21 points and 14 assists, Caleb Martin chipped in with 21, Jaime Jaquez with 14. You can have great play from your main guys but the others have to step up as well and they definitely did.

You’ll notice Miami players were boxing out and proactively looking for their man to box out. They moved the ball really well for most of the game, by that I mean they attacked , cutters moved and kept passing instead of standing around ball watching .
A lot of nba teams do not do any of those things… there’s no reason the Celtics who are much taller should be getting outhustled by every Miami player…

It’s not that hard to understand, Miami runs their organization with integrity to the game of basketball putting the emphasis on the fundamentals of basketball and WINNING not just stat padding or sacrificing the cause and effect of the best way to compete in a balanced/poised manner.
