Introduction to Annie Montgomerie: Hand Me Downs

YSP celebrated the opening of Annie Montgomerie's new show, Hand Me Downs on Friday 4 November 2022. The exhibition was opened with a recorded message from singer, songwriter and comic book writer, Gerard Way.

This introduction from someone I admire brought a big smile to my face. The exhibition was amazing and the way that Gerard spoke about the pieces summed up Annie’s work and how her ‘fans’ feel about her creations. I will never be able to afford to own one of her pieces but to be able to see them at Yorkshire Sculpture Park was the next best thing.
