@@Spudboys In the old days, all those pubs came under Newports licensing Laws and closed at 11pm whilst The Goodies closed at 10:30, so it was last orders in LLanrumney then over the hill to St Mellons for another last orders :-). (Olld St Mellons was called St mellons in those days).

My nana lives in Llanrummney well shes in a care home now not far from there but shs lived by thr captain morgan building ( you should do a vlog on thst place) has lots of history too.. Literally knew exactly you was soon as the vlog started haha

In the late 80s the welsh government ploughed millions of pounds onto a facility which gave a massive grant to the LG company to make monitors and tv screens. I dont think it was even fully operational when LG pulled the plug. And Newport was left with a big huge empty factory propped up by tax payers!! The radiator factory moved into a portion of the premises but i think they have since gone. Hence a big road surplus to requirements!!

The road goes to the cycle path between Duffryn and Marshfield and you can get to Lighthouse Road.
