    FYI: The push stick has a storage cubby in between the electric cable holder at back. It comes standard with the TS saw inserts here in Europe.

    There is absolutely micro adjust on this table. It's the big round black and white nob on the back of the fence.

    • @AaronGeller
      @AaronGeller Год назад

      That's to offset one of the fences from the other, it does not adjust it as a whole.

    When you want to set the fence parallel to the travel of the sliding table (perpendicular to the sliding table miter fence at 90), you can align it to the blade of your framing square with the square held against the miter fence.

    Great video, Dave. Just so you know, the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard has a couple of "Moonshine Labs" that use Festool products to fabricate work solutions here. I am using your video (and Part 2) to train up the work team here on using the Festool table and router. Your experience shared in your videos is helping the US Navy civilian work force get our ships repaired and back in service faster and more efficiently than ever before. Thank you, Dave.

    Thank you Dave for the information. I am looking forward to buy a set, but don't know until now i i should buy it with the OF 2200 or without and run it with my OF 1010. I didnt knew that the sliding table is included in the set, but maybe it is not included in Germany. Regards

    The storage mode also appears to be a secondary (tabletop) useage mode.

    Mr. Reinhold, Nice video bro. I would agree with your "expert" opinion. Festool makes it tempting to buy package deals and they are worth it in the long run.
    Very much off topic, but how do I get my hands on one of those sweet Toolnut shirt?!
    I've spent hundreds of dollars with Toolnut but never received a shirt. HAHAHA!
    Seriously, I'm on the fence about this set up, I have the Incra router table and I'm happy you are covering this setup. Waiting for the videos too follow. Eric

    Ha..ha... if you don't want to be a Festool-fan-boy I recommend never buying any of their products... because once you do, you will be hooked. Now I can't stop until I own it all:-) It's that good:-)
    These are professional tools... simple as that:-) Best go to Home Depot for your tools:-)

      @Kirk, thank you for your efforts posting this elaborated comment! But do you have any arguments which tools are better? I think, Incra is more precise in micro adjustment but on the other hand not as transportable to job sites as Festool.

    It's a shame they don't have a storage tote for everything

    It just sound like. Cheap hollow aluminum, and those small cheap plastic knobs would drive me nuts , btw to square the fences use square one slider fence bring it to bearing on the bit and than push table fence to your square. I also feel al those plastic flimsy things around bit would be in the way ,just my opinion. Price is high to lol sorry just my opinion again . I will try add sliding attachment from my saw ( saw stop slider ) and see if it makes routing better as i purchased excalibur for saw , like im blabbing here like any one cares lmao oh man you tube is crazy shit

    festool owners...the equivalent of apple fanboys, ha! seriously, they make some wonderful stuff, but are ridiculously expensive , their marketing strategy is similar to apples, price it high to create a luxury desirable brand. dont get me wrong, some of the designs are genius, but you pay a shitload for a lot of plastic parts eg; the push stick you can knock up at home for a dollar! dont get me started on price of dust hoses and connectors. im not knocking your reviews, but their pricing. cheers

    You don't make your own push sticks? With your skills, you can make 100 for $12.
