Even image after image would work as you describe WHY it works for that silhouette of trouser. You gave us the basics, now I could use the in-depth dive into enough examples to lock it all into my brain. Thanks so much Lydia! You are a classic example of classic good taste with just enough edge to look current.
I love wearing trousers! Very comfortable & much cooler than any other pant style for me! You should write a book with lots of pictures.you are so classy & pretty & your presentation is very good too! A book you can pick up at any given time & refer back too. Hardcover is a must ! So i keep veering towards sinple skirts and tshirts in summer since I dont know what style of jeans really suits my body.

Hi Lydia! Thanks for another great video- so informative and helpful. I bought my first pair of slouchy jeans when I saw them on you.I’m nowhere near as slim and gorgeous as you but I love them. I also found a fabulous pair of baggy white jeans which are wide all the way down to the ground in great quality denim from Zara this year. I think they were the style Caia and they’re super comfortable. 💗
Just as a suggestion Lydia, would you consider dedicating a 'style video/lessons with Lydia' for someone who is completely the opposite to your own body shape and height? Perhaps showcasing someone who is on IG and is maybe 5'2" (ish) and around 10 to 11 stone in weight (just an example). Personally, I am similar to your body shape (a tad shorter) and can easily assimilate to your style, but I imagine people who look completely the opposite to you have some difficulty to imagine how they might look. I’m an inverted triangle and wide leg trousers don’t look good on me but what does is the last look with kitten heels, skinny jeans and a longer looser blazer! Loved the video!

Would love to wear jeans other than skinny jeans. Any ideas for someone who is 5'4 size 8 to 10 mostly 8 if theres stretch. Flat butt not much curve of hip or thighs and thin legs. Find other than skinnies like River Island Molly ones they can be very baggy around the top of my legs and butt and wider legs can make my legs look shorter.
Here in Vancouver we have the same "british" summer weather and I agree we can wear leather trousers in summer but if it is cool enough to wear it, we can't wear them with strappy sandals: what would work beside trainers and not look too winterish?

You give good advice. However when you give a examples ie cigarette pants the full screen is that pants so we get what you are talking about then as you are giving examples instead of small pics on the side where it was hard to see what you were saying but actual large pictures and things you had styled instead of pic archive pic you were giving advice verbally but visually whole screen pic would have been more effective...
I so much appreciate the time, energy and expense you put into your great videos. I know several bloggers who charge a small subscription fee for some videos; I would certainly be willing to pay one. Having a 24 minute video interrupted by 6 ads is excessive in my opinion, and more than any other blogger’s I have seen.
