I found out about this spot from my friend's RUclips channel (quest for details). His name is Nate. You should check him out. He has a lot of good videos that I think you would like and he's way better at explaining everything then me.
@zen11minerals I did subscribe to his channel after you said you learned that wire wrap technique from him but I looked and am not sure which video it's on.
There's some in Lakeport museum that go back a ways, and even then the natives wer telling them that story , as far as I know it's pre- white. But good question, 100 years?1000 years? 30000?.......
And let's keep in mind that the Anderson Marsh end of Clear Lake has some of the longest continuously inhabited archaeological / First Nation sites in North America documented and researched it's one of the sites that was already pushing the land bridge theory to the side

I wonder how old that legend is on how they became known as moon tears..
