this album's success has nothing to do with that. They were already on top of the world and had 2 huge singles that weren't written by him.
He had the same resources as J.T. He just didn't make the music that caught people's ears. Great voice by JC but J.T. had a voice and vision.
The last two choruses of this song are pure pop perfection. Those harmonies are insane 🔥

This album debuted right after the broke free from the nightmarish management that was Lou Poulman. He was the manager of both the backstreet boys and Nsync originally. There is actually a good documentary on the subject.
@@MorganMindfulness what still angers me a bit, nsync first album stuck under bad management, 2nd album no strings attached just barely broke out/free of their original deal and jumped to jive and breaking all kinds of sales records and seemed happy and revitalized and kind of reborn and good to go, 3rd album celebrity breaking even more sales records and kept promising in all their interviews group or individually that they were here to stay and happy and not going anywhere... and then no 4th album or any other album they just vanished, and sure jt is great and still doing his own thing, but we never hear from anyone else anymore and we never get to hear the amazing sound they have together anymore, and they and their new label and managers promised the fans, and they had a mini rivalry for a brief period with new kids on the block saying they were going to have longevity unlike nkotb had and were going to stay together...and then they just didnt and after justins debacle with janet jackson at the superbowl we never heard about the other members of nsync really ever again other then joey being in that one greek wedding movie or play whatever it was and lance or chris i forget now wanting to go into space or something on a russian rocket ship or something. but nothing about any of them other then eventually justin again musically anymore..
they had so much joy and happiness and talent, they could have released 5 more albums easily before the hype would even have begun to fade i expect, and back then albums were only expected like every 2-3 sometimes every 5 years by labels not constant content like society often seems to expect now, so they could have done marvel movies and nsync albums and broadway plays and whatever else they wanted to do along with the albums i'm sure and everyone would have given them that leeway, especially after all the hard work they did to get out of their original record deal
i miss their music and their joy. they were always happy and clowning around and it was always natural it seemed not contrived, even when they were getting hammered by the media or management or something they were still clowning or playing basketball or something. they pretty much single handedly revived mcdonalds popularity when it was flagging badly with the special nsync/britney spears collaboration released only through mcdonalds and with justin doing the i'm loving it jingle/campaign and i think they also brought out the mighty kids meals with his or nsyncs help too.. they were everywhere and anytime they showed up it brought life to whatever they were involved with it seemed.

can't believe this channel has only alittle over a million subscribers, when they used to sell like 2-3 million albums in the first day or week or whatever it was...would have thought they'd be having videos with a billion views and at least 5 million channel subscribers or something by now.
grew up listening to their songs ever since like 9th or 10th grade, still love their songs over 20 years later they still sound like nothing else to me and so positive uplifting, such a "fresh and clean" sound is best i can describe it, so crisp clear and just intrinsic happiness to it you never generally hear in any genre of music very much, and so great to sing and dance to, not giving a care in the world if anyone hears or anyone could be watch, it just doesn't matter :)
