thank you ! really appreciate the collaboration of two great musicians. And the switch to playing piano in the middle of the concert is a real bonus. Reminds me of Zuckerman switching between the violin and the viola.

Yes, I remember your clip of the 2nd mvt with Joyce Yang. I wanted to see other mvts too. It also occured to me (like your fan several minutes earlier) that you could (have) change at your instruments 🤔🤔🤔.

beautiful performance! many classical musicians play both piano and their solo instrument at a high performance level but most won't do it in public.

There are so few musicians who can play two instruments at stage level; besides Julia, I remember that Rostropovich could accompany his wife on the piano at concerts.

This is a duo sonata for violin and piano. No accompanying.
Switch instruments between movements. 😂 That would make a performance!
They could have easily swapped instruments and done just as marvelous job.
