  • In this video, I’ll share tips for when you feel like you’re overpainting-obsessively tweaking your artwork without an end in sight. We’ll discuss recognising the signs of overworking, regaining perspective, and stepping back to evaluate your piece more objectively.

Thank you, that was very helpful. It's good to be reminded of what should be obvious when trying to paint loosely.

Thanks Clair, I was so excited to see you had a new video up, I've watched all of them. I have learned so much from you so far and this one especially. I've been trying to get away from painting too much detail and being more free with my paintings and I think I'm getting it now thanks to you.
One thing I still struggle with however is replacing 'natural colours' in a landscape with much brighter and interesting ones. When I look at a picture of the bush all I see is different variations of green and struggle to get them vibrant and colourful, yours are amazing.
As a fellow Aussie from Gippsland, it's great to see your interpretations of the bush.
I love how real you are. Thankyou.

Hi Clair, I also struggle to stop, I feel the need to keep going until it’s “perfect” and it never is 😅
Speaking of Artists you admire and looking at their work to inspire you, any chance you will re release your art book? 💕
