I know it's a special designed bike popular in Japan but from an American standpoint first impression is Frankenstein looking dude riding a skinny tire Bobber with mangled handlebars and steel shoeing around an asphalt oval like he is on rails. I think it's cool as hell.
@@spudtree The bike is specially built for the track and is a form of gambling like horse racing. These mix bike races are there to show that it the design is better than real bikes. You can tell that the bikes are designed to easily hold the left turn for a long time. These are not meant for the road

The most obvious, for me at least , advantage this guy has is his line. He's riding a circular race and the rest are trying to make the track straights with round ends. You could say he's riding rings around them.

They can grab a handful of momentum on the two straightaways (which aren't really long enough to capitalize on that momentum) and then have to dump it going into the two curves. Not to mention the setup of the bike built for the track. Sometimes the old and crusty ways beat the new and powerful ways . . . says the crotchety old guy. :)

I see now. This winning guy is correct in cutting the right path and his bicycle seemingly very stupid, but in fact flexible in managing such paths with varying lean angle. However, the other so called "high tech" is inflexible in the lean angles, so that they have to keep one angle tightly and the corresponding speed, i.e. bad slow path, otherwise, they will crush. Big mistakes for these bikes. Thank you for this guy for exposing such huge mistake.
So which bike actually came prepared is the question? This is one direction and one gear for the crotch rocket so who actually changed the gear ratio for this race???? I’ll wait....
I don't know in which country this race takes place, I don't know what this race is called, I've never seen it before, but before they'd set off I just knew the guy on the weird looking bike would win.

オートレースバイクの人は走り方がうまいね。常に円で走る他のレース用バイクは常にバンクしてるからスピードが出ないけど、オートレースの人は、大きく外側に出てからなるべく直線を走るようにしてカーブを走ってるからスピードに乗ってる。
1番スピードが出る走り方を熟知してるから、速い。普通のレース用のバイクはそういう走り方がやりにくいのかやってないのか分からないけど走り方が違うのでそこでより差が出てるように見える。
やはりコースに特化されて設計されてるからそういう走りができるんだろうな。普通のバイクはそういう走り方がやりにくいから、バンクでスピード落ちてる感がある。
