    At first I really didn't like the face-lift from the precious gen but looking at it up close its really grown on me. I think it's still one of the best looking bikes on the market. Love that sort of naked cyberpunk look.

    I have the previous model and I think all the improvements are great. Here is a couple more I noticed, the mirrors are now wide enough to see past your shoulders. The previous mirrors were very narrowly mounted. You can check and top up the coolant without having to remove the right side cover which you have to on mine.

    Love the looks of the bike, I bought a Kawasaki Dominar it basically has the same motor ,only three spark plugs for the big single. Most bikes this size I usually install riser for the handlebars at 6ft 32 inches inseam . When I get back to the States I will have to test ride this bike. But in the Philippines I ride the Baja-Kawasaki Dominar , which Baja Auto makes these same motors for KTM with little tweaks here and there. Thank you Bob

    Visual-wise, previous gen hits the sweet spot better than current one. But the specs upgrades are very absolutely welcomed. I was a Husqvarna fan, and still am. Can't say it's a bang for the bucks, seeing as their pricing in my country (Malaysia) makes it so that they are having a hard time to compete with its direct competitors. I'd love to see how this new iteration performs on some light off-road terrain. I suspect that it will do at least as well as its predecessor (2023 and earlier vintage), right? I love this bike across the years -- yes, I agree with others that a tubeless spoked rim would have been a nice upgrade, but at least the current setup is no worse than before (and is offset by the significant upgrades in frame, engine and tech specs). Aesthetically, I think all model years have been great, although I do prefer to favor the previous centered rear shock aesthetic (but the new shocks are functionally better, so moot point). All in all, this is a better Svart. The one new change that I absolutely hate, though, is the new exhaust configuration (I much prefer the previous high mount exit) -- I am in the market for the 24 model, but hope that I will be able to mod the exhaust to follow something more similar to the previous year or the 390 Adv setup. If doable, then that would make the 24 an easy buy; if not doable, then that would give me a little pause about buying the 24 vs a leftover discounted 23. But, this is such a cool little bike, and your video review here is excellent!

    Though I've not seen one in person from pictures/videos I think its appearance is greatly improved over the previous model. Deal breaking tiny fuel capacity/funky instruments of the previous version have been fixed. Looks like a bargain to me! Interesting that it undercuts the price of KTM's version by quite a bit (especially once you add the optional quick-shifter to the KTM) but Husqvarna's new 801 is far costlier than a Duke 790 (?).

  • @officeacct0048
    @officeacct0048 2 месяца назад

    Tbh, with the issues from the first one, not really sure if I'm excited with the new one's quality. It's like you have to spend more to make the bike usable. Don't want random stalling while having a more rideable bike, buy fuelx. Want a more audible exhaust (the last one was so silent, I almost got sideswiped), but a new slip on exhaust. Don't want the hyperflashing turn signals issue, buy a new 3rd party relay that's not supplied by bajaj (which is soooo hard to source) -- and sometimes you have to buy a whole new turn signal assembly.
    And yes, the bike is cheap when brand new, but incase something broke, it costs an arm and a leg to replace it, coming straight from KTM dealerships.

    I'm in love with the Huskies and want to get one as my first bike but I'm afraid something like this might be too small for me, since I'm 193cm 90kg. And then the newly announced 801 looks amazing too but it's too much bike for where I live and the kind of riding I intend to do (small country with primarily mountain roads and 80kmh speed limits everywhere). Despite any new improvements and tweaks - and despite me at first thinking this was a really good look - I think, after the novelty has worn off, I'd actually go for the 2023 model. It just looks so much more characterful.

    The 2024 Svartpilen 401 in India only has 4 on each side for compression and rebound i.e. if 2 is mid it can only move 2 on each side +/-.
    Rear suspension's rebound also have only 4 clicks, can anyone else with 2024 Svart 401 confirm this ?

    The only best looking rear side suspension is Ducati.
    KTM could keep the central position of the rear suspension the same because there’s nothing needed for just single piston engines.
    I would take the Triumph scrambler 400x to this

    The specs and details which we CAN see on the net, are one thing, the other is - the things we CAN NOT see - such as LIGHT AMOUNT / POWER. As I've mentioned before - it is YOU - moto-vloggers / testers / reviewers... who CAN test these things, since YOU get bikes for several days.... Ordinary people DON'T get to test the light, before they purchase the bike !!!
    So pretty please, with sugar on top - TEST THE FUCKEN LIGHTS - BOB ! 🤨
    Service information is ALSO, pretty ESSENTIAL - for most of the MC buyers. People don't often remember ( as they get astonished by the looks of the bikes ) to acquire this information BEFORE they buy the bike !
    For example : I've seen SO MANY tests of the CB500X, but NO ONE told anything about its' SHITTIEST front light ! - Is it SOOOOOO hard to provide a USEFUL testing / information ??!!

    Nice bike, but the exhaust is awful, an Akrapovich one would be much better, and probably it would be possible to save 1 or even 2 kg. The footpegs need to be changed, they are really bad. I would like 19' wheels instead of 17' ones. About the price... the tendency of bike, car manufacturers is taking advantage of the customers and in this case they clearly did it; nothing else to say. Thank you for the video!
