Thanks for watching 😎 I would rather have this than a 4 bedroom holiday home somewhere. Small enough for the family to be together, but big enough to still have space and privacy.
@@GarnockReviews agreed - it's a dream of mine to explore the Med. coast of Europe in summers, the northern coast at some point, the islands in the Caribbean, travel the entire intracoastal of the US east coast......would be wonderful but need some DEEP pockets
I had never heard of the Great Loop until I started my channel. Now it is a dream of mine to one day achieve this. Takes a lot of time and money, but never say never ;)
WoW!! What a beautiful Yacht!! I absolutely love the accommodations! Some would do updating but i love the dark wood and darker shades of green and such. I'd be fine living in the crew quarters!! A class act all the way 'round! Make a Black & Tan at the bar, settle in a Recliner and your all set!! Thanks for the tour!! ✌️🏳️🌈✌️
Thanks Bryan. I personally wouldn't change the woodwork either. I don't think the dark wood would suit any boat, but it seems to suit this one. My wife wanted to bring that dining table and China cabinet home with us 😆
Hi Garnock Reviews, At first Happy new Year for 2025 and that you bring us a lot good shows of all those nice yachts, This Dovercraft Custom raised pilot house of 90 ft looks very nice the open salon and dining table for 8 fits easy 10 master with 2 bathrooms thats need I love the galley on the main deck rare for European yacht thank you a great show
Happy New Year Manuel!! This one reminded me of the super yachts I used to see when I would visit Mallorca in Spain. Maybe some day my channel will take me back over there, you just never know.
The price really took me by surprise. I've got boats on here half the size for the same or more money. Certainly has a lot of potential, and it would be great for island hoping through the Caribbean on 😎
Thanks for watching. I can see upgrading the crew quarters either for crew or additional guests. The beauty with this yacht is that there is already space allocated, that's half the battle 😎
🌟 So buddy, she was on sale in 2023 for offers in the region of 600k. Where are you getting your pricing from? Because we're not seeing any added value or upgrades and inflation doesn't work that way. 🤔
That's a conversation for the owner and Luke Brown Yachts. I'm not involved in the pricing or sale of the yacht, my channel just focuses on the video walkthrough to share with everyone what the different yachts look like inside and out 😉
@@superyachtchefsounds like a used boat dealer convinced the owner he could get 800k if he could just get the listing, lol. Al Bundy's got some ladies shoes at a great discount
When my Dad and I were in the boat sales business, it was rare to see a deal go through more than 10% off the asking price without major issues found in a survey. You're asking for more than 25% off the asking price. If the owners aren't financially stressed, I'm not surprised the offer was rejected 😉
Thanks Daniel. I love getting to check out boats of all shapes and sizes. If I had the time and money, I'd still be after something around the 40ft to 50ft or so trawler to do the Great Loop. What's your idea of a perfect boat if you had the time and money?
@@GarnockReviews I actually have the money and will have the time in a couple years. Im almost ready to retire and been looking. I want something around +/- 50' with a shallow enough draft to do the loop and an adjustable clearance to make it under those bridges. Even if I have to pay for customizing a fly bridge to collapse it enough to clear the Chicago and other bridges Id do it. Id also like to have the widest beam possible, around 18' but Ive only seen one boat like that in my price range. I can swing around the price of this boat so Im looking at a Hatteras Motor Yacht style probably 30 years old or more. I dont mind buying something for 300-400K and doing a complete refit. Something like that is my perfect boat. Cheers...
@@GarnockReviews I always thought Carver was cheap. Maybe Im wrong. I currently own a Cobalt that is at my Lake House, it's a nice boat. Ive also owned Chapparel's and Crownlines, also nice boats. Maybe I need to look closer at Carver's. Why not eh, dont plan on keeping whatever boat I buy forever.
I agree it's a lot of boat for the money!! As to a catch, the broker, Captain, and owner welcome any inspection or sea trial. This one could be made ready to sail in no time at all.
Maintenance, Dockage, Crew and Fuel. That's the catch . Do you know what it will cost to lift this out of the water at only a handful are left that can handle this size boat and paint the bottom. HOLY SHEIT BAT MAN. THERE GOES YOUR RETIREMENT ❤ GREAT JOB ON THE WALK THROUGH AND A GREAT BOAT. ❤
What a cool and unusual layout. Love the 'country kitchen'. looks and feels a great family boat.

What a beautiful vessel! Price is good too...
Excellent review, as usual... Thanks and Happy New Year...
👍😎👍
Thank you 😊 Happy New Year to you too 😎
great way to kick off the new year. thank you for calling the grill a grill and not a barbecue
Every boat for the rest of the year, will look like this one's tender 😆
@@GarnockReviews Don't think I've heard you say "saloon" in a while either. :)

@GarnockReviews Lol 😂. She has fine taste!!!
Just buy her the boat ❤🎉
This will be sold before I can write my check …. In a heartbeat and captain staying is perfect . Just need it to be in Jacksonville ❤️
Bet that would be a great shakedown cruise from Stuart to Jax 😎 She would be one of the Queens of Ortega if you brought her up here 😉
Awesome yacht. Wish I had the money. Great ture. 😊😊😊
Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊

It's amazing this is priced similar to an upper end center console........Too bad the upkeep is what REALLY costs.

A lot of boat for the money. I would definitely update the crew quarters.

Tyvm ver beautiful
Love it. How much do you think it cost new?
Not sure what it cost then. If you were to order one today, I'd think you would be safe adding an extra 0 at the end and call it $8m
I noticed in the Pilot house there was a panel that read Detroit Diesels but you mentioned MTU's do you know if the engines were swapped out?
Hmmm not sure about that one. The engines were rebuilt at one point, but I am not aware of them being replaced.
I noticed that as well.
Mtu owned Detroit diesel
That would do it. Thanks for that extra input 👍
@GarnockReviews are you going to be at the Atlanta boat show next week?
Hull is aluminum?? Or grp ???
I believe it's aluminum
@ even better !
I'm a sucker for wood paneling.
I loved that feeling when I walked into the main saloon from the aft cockpit. Yachts like this suit the wood panels 🤠
What is the hull made of?
I believe it is aluminum 🤔
One would have to replace Gamin with reliable tech like Feruno or another reliable brand.
I'm just curious: What's wrong with Garmin? I've been on a bunch of boats with Garmin and so far, haven't been let down at all.
Nothing wrong with Garmin.
I made a cash offer of 525,000.00. I was told to go scratch.

That's a nice way of saying pony up cheapskate. Lol Let's partner up on it. It will fit behind my house here in Marathon.
When one has to pay almost the same to buy a studio apartment in Sydney from sanctioned criminals. I'd buy this.
This has everything onboard to make it the perfect home, including laundry facilities 😎
Nice tour mate. Definitely not my cup of tea. Dont like that layout but certainly to each his own. Someone will like it.

Might be worth looking at some larger Carvers too. They are normally beamy boats with tremendous liveaboard space, that more than not can do the loop.

That seems like an AWFUL lot of boat for only $800k. Kind of makes you wonder what the "catch" is...
