This show was 2015, it hadn't been played since before the split with Tarja in 2005. Second lead singer, Anette Olzon, didn't do operatic vocals, so it was one of the songs that got put away. When Floor joined it opened up the catalogue to the older songs, this being from the 2nd album Oceanborn. Yes, 3rd vagrant is the Earth. The song fit in with this tour. For the Endless Forms Most beautiful album, which used themes of science and reason along with the evolutionary theories of Richard Dawkins and Darwin.(The universe and life)
Thanks for all of these Nightwish reactions. I'm so happy that Floor has been declared cancer free following the final test results. Floor says she's not quite 100 percent but is looking forward to rocking with the crowd. Tomorrow, she and Nightwish begin the final leg of their 2022 world tour in Antwerp, Belgium. Really looking forward to seeing more great shows from them.
I'm SO SAD I missed the concert in my town last week... I wanted to go with my son but couldn't get tickets for us both and I didn't want to go without him...
Floor's Power is undeniable. And this concert was very special for Floor ( Her Parents where there ❤). The meaning of the song appears to be a poetic comparison between the Earth drifting through space and the way an ancient mariners would use the stars for navigation, and the music adds the proper epic drama of the process. Clarifying some of the metaphors, the "third vagrant" is the Earth as it is the third planet from the Sun, the "mother and child" are the Earth and Moon, "hydrogen lakes" describes both the fact that water is partially hydrogen, and that the space in our solar system is mostly hydrogen, "ambrosial merry-go-round" refers to the forever orbiting of the planet. NWSU 🤘😎🤘.
Stargazers is magnificent! Always worth watching Emppu in performances of this (and there are a number of videos of performances from this tour. I have 7 on DVDs in my collection). Emppu said: I'm always ecxcited about parts where there's room for improvisation - "Stargazers" for example, is a great live song that enables you to really shred.". It is the opening track on the second album, Oceanborn. What a way to open an album. Imagine, if you will, buying this album when it first came out, never having heard it. (At that point Nightwish hadn't toured outside Finland and in the Oceanborn tour they didn't come to the UK - mostly Germany, Spain and a couple of Switzerland gigs.) First thing you would hear is Stargazers. Can you imagine the impact that had? So it was played on the Oceanborn tour at all but two of the 26 concerts, but on only 1 concert on the next tour (to promote Wishmaster). Then a long period in the wilderness, as Floor says. But the EFMB tour certainly changed that - 134 performances!
I often use this as my wake up song. Some people like to wake up with calm music, I like to wake up with something that actually wakes me up. Happy and with lots of energy.
I know that Floor does a good job with this song which was obviously written for Tarja's operatic voice but not a favourite of mine as I don't like Tarja's operatic style of singing.
Yes Floor doesn't have that wide peak-and-valley vibrato that Tarja has. I liked Tarja in the early Nightwish days but now, I far and away prefer Floor's tremendous mixes of her vocals which Tarja cannot do. Odin help us all if Floor leaves Nightwish, the band will be no more.
@@Gibbetoo Floor can certainly do this, but does not want to be a copycat. She will always bring her own input and it is usually better than the originals.🤟🏻🤟🏻🎶🎶
Why are you talking about tarja She’s gone along time ago finished done clocked off Doing her own thing and doing it very well But now totally irrelevant to nightwish Move on peoples
I love how Floor teases the crowd here and there, to then hit them with her operatic voice

Her presence her every single move is a "can't take my eyes off her" thing, she's unbelievably captivating,it's insane
The best news for me . And so much more for Floor, her family, her brothers in Nightwish, and all fans. OUR QUEEN IS CANCER-FREE.🤘😅😊

Mother is Earth and child is the Moon. yes we are the Stargazers. Tuomas is fascinated with the universe and our place within it.
Все мы любим Nightwish и Floor 😍🤘
Hopefully you will do more Nightwish. There are soooo many great songs in front of you … 👍🏆🚀

The band is amazing, Floor is one of the best vocalist in the world!
You SHOULD hear instead TARJA do Stargazers! From the 2011 concert.
Hi, nice reaction, they also affect me emotionally, especially Floor's voice, best regards from Poland
Actually I think it is the stars gazing at the evolution of the planet earth and her "child" -- the moon.
This is the classic, "original" Nightwish :)
Good one.
The beginning sounds exactly like Dream Theater.
💕
This is Floor's Tarja voice
React to Gethsemane albun version. Its just beautifull
If you would like to react to an artist you might not have heard of, I recommend Aesthetic Perfection with Gods & Gold
