It's because you're not intelligent either. "The humanist view of the meaning of life is different. Humanists do not see that there is any obvious purpose to the universe, but that it is a natural phenomenon with no design behind it. Meaning is not something out there, waiting to be discovered, but something we create in our own lives." Stephen Fry Real science says nothing does nothing. Real science says if there was something there already it must fit with the evidence of what we know. We know the 1LT says there's a conservation of energy. It can change forms and neither can be created or destroyed. Creation cannot happen by natural means. The 2LT has various aspects, one being the universe is winding down, entropy. Usable energy is becoming less usable, so at one point usable energy was at its max. This all points to a supernatural creation, by a supernatural creator at a certain point in which matter, space, and time were created. When I read how it can happen otherwise, ALL the fools resort to science-fiction. Once a supernatural creation is accepted, then the next step is finding proof of what supernatural power did it. We can't even get science without God. The laws of nature only can come from a Lawgiver, God. Only mindless people believe Fry.

Marah D obviously not. stephen fry is my idol and I own all his books, watch QI, seen his movies, watched his documentaries about mental health, agree with all the things he says about religion and government, and the list goes on and on....I just notice silly things. sheesh don't be so quick to judge a little comment on a video....ugh
Not even close you idiot! You're comparing a name to an expression. What the fuck is your name? Are you supposed to stop saying your name because you don't agree with it's origin? Wow what a numbskull you are. Besides who the hell says bless you? Only weirdly religious people do. Never heard of anyone normal say bless you. Do I believe in thor...you made me laugh - thanks.
I love him but his touching his nose is very distracting. I am not sure I like the interviewer! He has the most beautiful hands. I cannot understand with all his money that he has not fixed/straightened his nose!
as regards his pirating music comments, long ago a friend gave me a copy of 2 Randy Newman albums that he copied onto a cassette tape for me. Since I have grown up, I have purchased every Randy Newman album at least once (several more than once) and gone to a concert of his. I have recommended his music to others and encouraged them to purchase CDs, all that is money he and the music companies gained that they never would have seen had a friend not "pirated" the music.
I used to like Stephen Fry. I don't know what YourFry is, but he said he has written three memoirs now? What can he have possibly written about?! I don't know him for any one single work. He dibbles and dabbles, but what has he actually done that was really a breathtaking piece, that everyone points to and goes: 'Stephen Fry achieved that, he's a great man'? Nothing. He's intelligent, but it seems like he's never put it to any real use. Now he writes memoirs where he talks about his cocaine addiction, everyone sob on cue. He'll be remembered for flaunting his wasted intelligence, and reminding everyone how much of a, down to earth, dear soul he is for being degenerate in his life.
MrCool Mug Wow, you loaded that with a bunch of hate for a man you don't know. As for what he has achieved? Here are a few things: Blackadder. A Bit of Fry & Laurie(IMO the best sketch show) The voice of Harry Potter. Sounds like a small thing, but anyone who had read to a child knows that bringing that much life into a story is anything but easy. Several brilliant Documentaries. Jeeves and Wooster. Absolute Power Kingdom(not a fan, but my parents love it) QI(Ask any regular TV host, and they will tell you just how hard it is to stay that good for that long.) Several great books. But hey, he's done nothing right? Where the hell have you been the last 30 years? As to the cocaine, he has been quite clear on the matter. He in no way glorifies what he did, he simple states that he did it. What about when is spent 2 chapters in one of his Memoirs talking about sugar addiction? Or smoking? Or prison sentence? But ok, its his cocaine use that is him fishing for a 'sob'. If you are not interested in his Memoirs, then don't pissing read them. As to his intelligence, he has been quite clear and honest about it. He has openly stated that he does not believe himself to possess an over abundance of intelligence in its truest form. He has a great memory, which is a great thing in many ways, sadly it tends to make you come across as smug. But you probably won't change your mind, most people on the internet don't.
+reznor12 Oh people change their minds aaaaaall the time and a lot of people happen to be on the internet. I wouldn't put it past this fellow. Or yourself for that matter. As for Stephen I've seen very little of him to be honest by comparrison to probably most of the people in this list of comments. I think to me he certainly inspires a welcome (sometimes) sence of honesty. Regardless of whether he leaves a large print on the society or not I really like him.
You disappoint me there Fry, I don't think you know an awful lot about mobile phones and their operating systems, therefore giving your opinion on the matter is pointless and something I hadn't expected of you.
Get a life you sad, pathetic creature. Stephen has more talent in his little finger than you have in your entire body. I find it disgusting how you talk about a man who suffers with a serious mental illness and has been through so much. Seriously, piss off.
It's cool. I just think he's sketchy. Friends with the monarchy and all the cover up merchants. Just my opinion. I hope I'm wrong. Apart from that he's a self righteous, not as clever as he thinks prick. I'm pretty sure he's a sinister guy. Rik Mayall tried to say something about Fry. Watch the space.
I find Stephen Fry likeable and entertaining, but I am also aware that some say he's a stupid person's idea of what a smart person is like. Is that true? Ultimately God will judge us all lol. As for his marriage to this much younger guy, I have no strong opinion except to make a note of something very hypocritical in the mentality of some of thise whoi cheer him on. That is, if it was a man Fry's age with a woman Elliot's age, how would that go down with the public? Cries of "creep" and "borderline paedophilia" would ring out throughout the land, I expect. Ryan Seacrest is only 39 so much younger than Strephen Fry, yet he has been widely criticised for dating a 23 year old woman, with comments in the Daily Mail Online to the tune of "Eww, she's too young for you" and "Dude, grow up." Yet Fry's relationship with Elliot is mostly given the tick of approival by the media. The difference being?
I always feel more intelligent when I listen to Stephen Fry.
It's because you're not intelligent either.

I couldn't get a track on my authoritarian device... Android users are stupid...
👀 Bald. Bald. Bald.
as regards his pirating music comments, long ago a friend gave me a copy of 2 Randy Newman albums that he copied onto a cassette tape for me. Since I have grown up, I have purchased every Randy Newman album at least once (several more than once) and gone to a concert of his. I have recommended his music to others and encouraged them to purchase CDs, all that is money he and the music companies gained that they never would have seen had a friend not "pirated" the music.
Why is your hair long at the back and sides and not present at the top? ..... shave ffs!
Here are a few things:
Blackadder.
A Bit of Fry & Laurie(IMO the best sketch show)
The voice of Harry Potter. Sounds like a small thing, but anyone who had read to a child knows that bringing that much life into a story is anything but easy.
Several brilliant Documentaries.
Jeeves and Wooster.
Absolute Power
Kingdom(not a fan, but my parents love it)
QI(Ask any regular TV host, and they will tell you just how hard it is to stay that good for that long.)
Several great books.
But you probably won't change your mind, most people on the internet don't.
reznor12
QI was good.
my god you are such a moron.
+MrCool Mug Intelligence really doesn't garantee happiness you know.
You disappoint me there Fry, I don't think you know an awful lot about mobile phones and their operating systems, therefore giving your opinion on the matter is pointless and something I hadn't expected of you.
Worst.Hair.Ever!!!
Now then now then now then. Steve'll Fix It. No! Wait! He's on the run. Again. Jesus Christ.
Get a life you sad, pathetic creature. Stephen has more talent in his little finger than you have in your entire body. I find it disgusting how you talk about a man who suffers with a serious mental illness and has been through so much. Seriously, piss off.
Child bending is not a mental illness.
I'm not saying it is? He has bipolar disorder.
Stephen Fry is in a civil partnership not a marriage
His partner is his civil partner not his husband
let it go love.
NO!
+Amanda Jayne Bristow No seriously, let it go love.
Don't call me love
Stephen Fry need to go and find a woman and marry her in the Jewish way and have sex with her and have children with her
Hes an atheist. Hes as likely to have a jewish wedding as find a woman.
For someone who says they are a scientist you are very ignorant.
I'm an atheist so who cares
