That Alex Lolies guest is so interesting and charismatic.
Ben's Snake Oil choice is inspired. I can imagine the kind of slick, fast talking gangsters from the first half of the 20th century giving some delicious fictional pitches.
This was a really fun episode. Good laughs the whole time
'I feel like this is just a complicated beyblade' - every game ever (apart from beyblade).
I wanted to be a Taxidermist when I was younger. I kind of like art, but suck at drawing and that kind of art. So, the ideal of "sculpting" with something like that could have been interesting.
I miss when the Yogs would play Snake Oil etc on this channel.
It's still crazy to me that American history and culture is so pervasive and well known that 4 brits talking about 1920's prohibition era feels natural to them. Especially when Britain never had prohibition laws. Cool stuff.
Most of what I know about prohibition came from Boardwalk Empire.
