This is a reversed fragment from the Christian Orthodox Holy Liturgy. In the background we hear the priest say "Încă ne rugăm pentru mila, viaţa, pacea, sănătatea, mântuirea, cercetarea, lăsarea şi iertarea păcatelor robilor lui Dumnezeu inchinatori, miluitori şi binefăcători ai sfântului locaşului acestuia." which is translated "We are still praying for the mercy, the life, the peace, the health, the salvation, the self discovering of sins, the giving up on sinning and the forgivess for the sins of the servants of God, the ones that pray, the merciful ones, and benefactors of this holy place (church)."The whole orthodox church holy ritual part is then forced on a dark and spooky kind of music scale with the use of the pipe organ sound( music which has absolutely nothing to do with the orthodox original ritual). It is all done in a blasphemous and diabolic manner, a reverse of all of what is connected with Christ, with truth. The spooky pitched down reversed voice in the foreground say " zis-a Domnul catre ucenicii sai porunca noua dau voua" which is a fragment from the scriptures, from John 13:34 and its translated "Lord told to His apprentices - I give you a new command".Hope this helps.God bless all of us!
Vlad Tanasescu orthodox churches are very, very creepy. You don’t need to add this kind of ominous music to make it a terrifying experience. From the little I know of Romanian and being a Spanish speaker, I can say that Romanian evolved in a particular manner when compared to the Romance languages at the West. Besides, it embodied many features and words from Slavic languages. We Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French, Catalonian and other speakers can recognize plenty of similarities among our languages and compared to Latin. But when it comes to Romanian it seems, at least to me that it shares the same ancestry but has gone an evolution pattern of its own. That said, I have to say Romanian is the most beautiful language I know by far.
True my friend! As I read the translation I'm even more humbled and reminded as to why I pray! This is a beautiful Orthodox chant and most reverant! The only other time I heard this was on a London Highgate Cemetary video and it is played in reverse(??????) Thanks and best wishes.

And, do not think that people will consider your country as satanic. It made me curious about your country and your religion. One last thing to all, try listening the 2 tracks (forward and backward) at the same time : it is great !!!!
Foarte frumos ♥️ The original sermon is modified/edited the background sound (and the priest's voice) has a much heavier tone, but the words and chanting are from the orthodox Holy Liturgy in Romanian.
To all of you having no idea that what you hear is a piece of soundtrack work commissioned by Stanley Kubrick for his movie "Eyes wide shut". This soundtrack serves perfectlly the purpose depicked in the movie (a scene with a satanic ritual of a secret society) . Acctually here is the original source material from which the composer, Jocelyn Pook (check out her entire work. It's an astonishing example of contemporary art of sound. She did the soundtrack for the movie "The Merchant from Venice" and for other Kubrick movies as well. Her music is fabulous!) worked the sound for. In the movie all the liturgial chant is reversed, and here it stands the mystical part of it all. Any reversed imaginary of the Christianity becomes a Satanic one, as we all know. This is art my friends, and not a religious statement.
[1of2] Thank you, DarkViolin, for posting this lovely video, to make it available for viewing pleasure. I'm a BIG fan of Stanley Kubrick films in general, and "Eyes Wide Shut" is no exception. I am aware that Jocelyn Pook's 'Masked Ball' was used (previously entitled 'Backwards Priests') for the now-classic mansion scene (with Tom Cruise showing up in disguise). I found the sound and vocals to be an eerie combination. It had an overwhelming effect on me, and I can listen to it over and over.

Shamefully, the sects left out the Gnostics and particularly the Essenes (whom Jesus may have belonged) out of the council.
Actually it is spooky, because of it's intensity. It sounds like some last prayer of a martyr... Almost like a ghost singing it... Very heavy, very gloomy. But it should be like that, I guess. I don't imagine how it could be fast and happy.
Hey, people, the message of the movie is to my humble opinion, that do not interfere to the things you are not aware about if you want to continue living as you used to. Otherwise you will get troubles. Nowadays it all the same.
The concept of this prayer, I mean, its reversion and the message within it, strongly reminds me of one of the Simpsons songs, "Yvan Eht Noij"... Nevertheless, this music (both the original and the reversed) gives me goosebumps - in a good meaning.

And I wonder why they chose this chant for the moment in the movie... There must be something... Maybe while played in backwards...it symbolizes that they do the opposite to what is said in it...
Yes they are speaking in Romanian. I am Romanian and I understand. The translation would be something like `"God said to his servants: A new commandment I give to you" and "We still pray for the mercy, the life, the peace, the health, the salvation, the scrutiny, neglection and forgiveness of the sins of God's servants, worshipers, almsgivers, benefactors of this holy site"

Hi I am a greek orthodox! Having repeatedly watched the movie ews, I appreciate the movie has illuminati symbols and rituals carried out by, and, for the elite of this world. And I would like to ask any romanian what the lyrics of the pray are saying.

It is scary, scary voices, scary melody. But the scariest thing about all is that I don't understand a word, and my imagination sometimes can be very cruel and 'sick'.
You need to find out the singer there was 2 singers you need to hear the original lucky for me i have heared it on youtube good few years ago it was amazing but funny how it was took off the sights very fast to find it now would be very hard to get the original when i say original of the chant but the 2 singers tried to get as near to the original and it was done in a church in baia the 2 singers was apart of the romanian orthodox divine liturgy.
@WISEBL00D : Did Jocelyn Pook create this traditionnal orthodox religious piece ? Or is it taken from Romania and made known to the whole world thanks to Kubrick's film ?

@dian70bul08 the original version has to be in latin! the orthodox church and the catholic church were one before year 1054 , and everything was written in latin!
@johnnykkkjohnny Your protest is understandable, because what I wrote previously gives the impression that I say that this beautiful chant based on the Word of our Lord is not in Romanian. But in fact my comments are a proposal to construct a new interLatin language (some exist already). Many Greeks speak Valach (Romanian's cousin) at home, so the sounds of Romanian are recognizable to us. Romanian is fascinating, because it has declensions, genitive, dative, etc, lost in other Latin languages.
This is THE ORIGINAL LITURGY PRAISING LORD JESUS' NEW DEMAND: MAY YOU LOVE EACH OTHER AS I HAVE LOVED YOU (to the point of sacrifice). It is in Romanian, of the land, where not coincidentally was found the earliest text of written language in the world (Tartaria). The satanists took it and reversed it in a sign of disrespect to God and Ecumenical values (see the inverted crosses, the mocking of Christian values and the trashing of the idea of love: the highest value on the scale of emotions.
Interesting. I doubt it's the oldest written language. Besides with the damp weather there it'd probably be destroyed but look to the Nile or Iraq for the written language where it's dry n old n can be preserved
True story brother. It is said that romanian language is not a latin language but latin is a romanian language. We have proofs in the bucegi mountains that would shatter the actual society.
@noigir It s a real language!! Romanian !!!it s my first language! Google it! the country where this language is spoken is Romania, in Eastern Europe !! Quite big may i say! :))) this song is an Orthodox Christian song, sang in church!
@noigir i understand it. it s kinda an archaic version of romanian. It s romanian in the begining. yes, it s different in many ways cuz the language evolved throughout the years :).
Daco-Romanian is the original Thracian language of the world. ruclips.net/video/AfDfq0w-G34/видео.html This comes with the oldest civilization in the world, going back to the Atlantean knowledge. The concept of this prayer, I mean, its reversion and the message within it, strongly reminds me of one of the Simpsons songs, "Yvan Eht Noij"...
Nevertheless, this music (both the original and the reversed) gives me goosebumps - in a good meaning.
The original is God worshipping and a prayer.
The backward, used in the moveie, is the opposite and becomes a satanic invocation.
The most normal romanian prayer sounds be like:
Lord called his disciples ...
New commandment give unto you ...
These are translations of what others posted in Romanian:
Lord we pray for mercy, life, peace, health, salvation, research, sagging and forgiveness of sins God's servants. Worshipers and benefactors miluitori this holy place. "
I have seen this prayer many years ago you will never find it but somebody will have it beautiful sound of the prayer.
All LOVE to our LORD Jesus Christ!!!!
GOSPOS ISUS HRISTOS jedini put i Istina. Amin
i love this
🔥
Bravo 😘
If it's backwards or forwards makes a big difference.
PROTIP: play assassins creed with this in the background
Sounds good tbh
Jesus Christ!!! lmao
acum si-n pururea si-n veci vecilor ... Amin!
man that was fun ! ;)
When Jehovas witnesses ring my door bell I open the door ,while this is playing in the background, and ask them for the password.
Fucking idiot ! Jw's are a pain, but they are what this record is all about............support of God and Jesus Christ.
And I wonder why they chose this chant for the moment in the movie... There must be something... Maybe while played in backwards...it symbolizes that they do the opposite to what is said in it...
Are they actually speaking/singing in Romanian? Can we get a translation anyone?
Yes they are speaking in Romanian. I am Romanian and I understand. The translation would be something like `"God said to his servants: A new commandment I give to you" and "We still pray for the mercy, the life, the peace, the health, the salvation, the scrutiny, neglection and forgiveness of the sins of God's servants, worshipers, almsgivers, benefactors of this holy site"
thanks!!!
Very fascinating. I was going to ask a Romanian friend and found this, thank you.
I LOOKED SO MUCH FOR THIS INFO!!! TKS JULIA
They are not speaking, this is part of the romanian orthodox mass on Sundays!
God bless the world and may Jesus Christ save us from the dark sins of weak, greedy people.
rockyracune from the dark side of the force the young jesus padawan save us, will
+rockyracune hierarchy is part of nature. in chemistry or human world, must be this way. i have no idea who wash your brains, but can you get it? there is no nice place in nature. everybody fights for his own food
+Scott Germanicus sure we all trying to that. Jesus did too. but u can't play against authority. always will be this way.
PURE SARCASM
"there is no nice place in nature. everybody fights for his own food"
And dies.
Rugaciuni pentru cei ce s-au trezit! si pentru cei care inca dorm sa se trezeasca, avem nevoie de voi.
Hi I am a greek orthodox! Having repeatedly watched the movie ews, I appreciate the movie has illuminati symbols and rituals carried out by, and, for the elite of this world. And I would like to ask any romanian what the lyrics of the pray are saying.
+Angelos Oustapasidis "And God told to his apprentices...I gave you a command...to pray to the Lord for the mercy, life, peace, health, salvation, the search, the leave and the forgiveness of the sins of God's children. The ones that pray, they have mercy and they take good care of this holy place."
heba30003 nice. thank you. and are u the woman that I see in the picture? If yes, find me and send me a request on fb.
:)))))
heba30003 did you find me on fb?
no i did not :)))
It is scary, scary voices, scary melody. But the scariest thing about all is that I don't understand a word, and my imagination sometimes can be very cruel and 'sick'.
Thanks for sharing that with us, Mar. Good to know (after all this time) what it finally means.
You need to find out the singer there was 2 singers you need to hear the original lucky for me i have heared it on youtube good few years ago
it was amazing but funny how it was took off the sights very fast to find it now would be very hard to get the original when i say original of the chant but the 2 singers tried to get as near to the original and it was done in a church in baia the 2 singers was apart of the romanian orthodox divine liturgy.
I wonder why it was removed
anthony abdorab yes im having trouble locating this actual song
@WISEBL00D : Did Jocelyn Pook create this traditionnal orthodox religious piece ? Or is it taken from Romania and made known to the whole world thanks to Kubrick's film ?
Nice song
This is scaring me in a so fcking weird way
It's even scarier backwards.
Did you say the password of the house?
I understand all is Incredible

@dian70bul08 the original version has to be in latin! the orthodox church and the catholic church were one before year 1054 , and everything was written in latin!
Luigi, you are awesome whoever you are
@johnnykkkjohnny
Your protest is understandable, because what I wrote previously gives the impression that I say that this beautiful chant based on the Word of our Lord is not in Romanian.
@annwyn17 It is correct. Beautiful lyrics! What is the name of this prayer, BTW?
Very spooky and impressive song. I love it !
@1darkviolin1 Where can I get this beautiful recording...is this the original chant, with all the instrumentation?
Well said
This is THE ORIGINAL LITURGY PRAISING LORD JESUS' NEW DEMAND: MAY YOU LOVE EACH OTHER AS I HAVE LOVED YOU (to the point of sacrifice).
Румыния появилась гораздо позже, чем первый письменный язык, но спасибо за шутку.
True story brother. It is said that romanian language is not a latin language but latin is a romanian language. We have proofs in the bucegi mountains that would shatter the actual society.
Don't worry you are safe now.
Jesus is the way.
I was a magician, now I'm a believer.
Amen
@noigir It s a real language!! Romanian !!!it s my first language! Google it! the country where this language is spoken is Romania, in Eastern Europe !! Quite big may i say! :))) this song is an Orthodox Christian song, sang in church!
@Metalicalypse It wasn't sung in reverse- Jocelyn Pook is supposed to have revered it, but I can't tell the difference as I don't know Romanian.
Fidelio
The best ever 😂
FIDELIO
@noigir i understand it. it s kinda an archaic version of romanian. It s romanian in the begining. yes, it s different in many ways cuz the language evolved throughout the years :).
Fantastico !!! Una belleza !!!
somebody here know the lyrics I can't understand and by the way it's very weird
Daco-Romanian is the original Thracian language of the world.

This comes with the oldest civilization in the world, going back to the Atlantean knowledge. Thus, this musical theme is quite appropriately done in Romanian (or rather in the reverse of the Church prayer)
