I own a wood library one too... Just plays butter smooth! I agree, people sleep on these! Mine has a rosewood neck and Brazillian board. Sam Ash and GC isn't the place to buy these though or any wood library for that matter. Always seek out an independent dealer. Got mine from Rainbow Guitars in Tucson.

I love my retro. I own a few different models from PRS. The retro model feels and looks beautiful I also experienced the same thing the thing sounds better than my 594 all day everyday.
It's an incredible guitar. I also gave a CU24 which I love but the Santana has a magic that I cannot describe. I've played golden era 50s guitars that I haven't liked as much. Thanks for the comment.
I enjoyed the playing. The guitar has a smooth, classy sound. Good explanation of the instruments you used to mix with the PRS Santana. I like the range of technical aspects in your presentation, much of which is beyond my knowledge. That adds to my appreciation of what goes into making music.

I purchased a new Retro and don't believe I got the original paper work work...Certificate of authenticity hag tags or a build sheet can you post a video showing what's comes in the case with a new Retro...I believe they're selling returned items as new...love the guitar

Guitar Center sells a PRS Santana model for about $14,000. Is that the general price range that your guitar fell in? please let me know. Thank you.
@@StrategicDevelopment No, that is probably a private stock model. The Core Santana is less than half of that
