The skill in melee where you heal on critical hits is a must for anyone, in my opinion. Right now it heals if you crit while gathering. So any class could go hit a tree a bit to get topped off.
If you're playing with friends, one should definitely play a Healer, I'm doing it in my group and its honestly pretty busted. You have an AoE heal 15m around you that scales with your intelligence. My friends are pretty much unkillable when they dont get oneshot
Even playing solo, the two skills that give passive healing completely eliminate the need for potions/bandages/healing items. Healer is as much useful as a secondary tree solo as it is multiplayer.

The game is quite easy, so apart from the gathering and movement nodes, I haven't found anything important in the skill system. I got 3 legendary level 9 weapons when I was level 2. Kind of disappointing. The building is tons of fun, so it keeps me engaged. I'm looking forward to future updates and upgrades.

The biggest issue I have with the game currently is that it's way too easy. I ran around for the first few hours in just the starter pants carrying crappy weapons and didn't feel much sense of danger after I figured out you can pretty much just run backwards away from enemy attacks and hit them with wand and staff skills while they carried out their animations. Even if you don't use ranged attacks, it seems like you can use the crappiest shield to block and you take no damage at all. I believe there should be a calculation done for chip damage that depends on the quality shield you have equipped against how much damage a particular skill/attack does. They should definitely take more cues from how the Souls games handle their combat, including enemy attacks and attack patterns, to make the combat more challenging and engaging. Another issue I have is that legendary gear is handed out too liberally which devalues a lot of the gear for me. It also doesn't make much sense to have legendary quality attached to what amounts to junk gear; the gear grading system needs to be reworked. Other than these things, I've really been enjoying my time with the game and I'm excited to see how it progresses with time. They have a solid foundation so far.
You haven't been in the trenches, I was walking up to a house in the shroud n like 8 zombies jumped out and they were all the beserker type that just run at you I ran till my stamina depleted than got raped. lol 🤣
Maybe stick with the souls games if you want tough combat 😅 I decided to give Enshrouded a go as a breather from getting smacked around in Elden Rings end game areas. Sure the combat is a bit janky but it's nice to get through the starter tutorial areas without getting one shot by some overturned one-shot maniac boss. As for the high level weapons dropping early, think it's fair to say you can get stuff early in most games - speed running for Meteorite staff or BH Fang in ER for example. But I can see what you mean by lack of achievement if you're just getting items from random chest drops. Not sure how I feel about this game yet, sure it passes the time, looks nice and the building is good. But it does seem a bit lacking somehow. Need to give it more time as I've only got a few hours in but I can't see it holding my interest for hundreds of hours like Elden Ring has.
Nah, I did fine without double jump playing. It does help a lot on game but if you want it spend skill points on it, that’s what makes one player different from another and the fun on planning your build. Maybe more climbing and grappling hook points?
One does not simply do double jumps. It's an art as old as gaming itself. It's an achievement at this point, and you damn well better earn it with your skill points.
The interaction between Chain Hit and Mass Destruction with the Acid Bite spell is so absurdly good that I am considering respec'ing to pick up the lightning damage perks instead of the fire damage. I'm also going to farm a legendary shock damage staff and drop Shroud Weaver like the maniac that I am. Currently using a legendary Poison damage staff. Acid Bite shoots out multiple acid projectiles. Each projectile can hit independently, thus crit independently. Furthermore, each projectile creates an acid pool which repeatedly ticks for additional damage, creating a flurry of individual damage instances that can all crit. This of course triggers the two on-crit instances of Shock damage. Regardless, the interaction absolutely devastates groups of enemies. If you pick up the other on-crit perk which stuns enemies your AOE damage then becomes extremely effective AOE crowd control. Lastly, always get Wizard Punch! (That's what it should be called, devs named it "Begone!" which is fine, I guess...). Begone! can stun even bosses and is totally absurd, giving you a bit of breathing room to charge up another Acid Bite and one-shot whatever you've just stunned. The fatal flaw of Acid Bite is that it's bugged on uneven ground. The projectiles seem to be unable to find terrain even a little bit below the player's current elevation (i.e. if the player is shooting down a declining slope). The solution here is to lure enemies to more even terrain, shoot at an incline instead, or use Fireball as a backup. I am hoping the devs will update the spell to allow the spray of projectiles to fall further before despawning. Though I suspect they'll nerf the aforementioned interactions at the same time as they are so good they easily one-shot level 30 bosses while also obliterating their entourage.
Got the feeling the game actively discourages melee battle. Got the armour from the smith fairly late and the boss battles are so much harder if you don’t use ranged attacks, besides all the flying enemies which are impossible to melee
I've custom binded the "F" key to jump (since that's what it is in my Skyrim playthrough and I'll forget if it's anything else), but custom bind doesn't appear to let me change the Glider key. So, my question is, how will the game know whether to double-jump or use my glider if I'm already in the air and then press "F" again? Can someone clarify how/if that works? Thanks.
Having the same problem here. Melee in general needs some love but as barbarian with double jump attack it pretty much consequently switches up double jump and glider which is quite annoying...

You can with channel heal and it's amazing. But the best heals for solo is definitely the two points that heal you per second based on int... it's amazing. I heal like 10hp per second.
@TheHonorq8 the skills in the mage tree, they are called water aura and you can get healing persecond based on ur int state. I just build a paladin that uses that and the fire damage per second to just stand and kill stuff around me lol
I love how people trash this game but praise the over hyped digimon-fortnite. I can't stop playing. So much fun! amazing building. anyone saying it's easy has not advanced far enough into the game. Been playing non-stop since launch and I've hardly scratched the surface. So they're either min-maxing in a full 16-player server and not taking the time to actually experience the game or idk. Loot system in multiplayer could maaaaaybe use some adjustments but I kind of also like the collaboration of talking to each other and seeing who the gear is best suited for (similar to WoW)
Am I the only one? I experienced motion sickness with the game. Thought I was just tired but I played it the next day and still it makes me dizzy. I don't have any complaints with the game truth be told I was waiting for it but I can't stand the dizziness. I played my other games that are similar to this like outward, valheim etc. Even played other 3rd person games believing that there's something wrong with me but no, none of them made me sick. Already refunded it on steam.
God damnit i want to watch this video so badly ! But refuse to watch about games i cant play ! Lol ! I know your content is always premium! Another time hopefully!
... you show skills at the ends of multiple skill trees and think these are skills to get 'early'? .... This is a BS guide lol You also completely missed just as important or more important skills depending on your combat type. You didn't even touch on wand combat, which is arguably the strongest combat in the game... I realise its only a few days since game release, so people aren't going to have a huge amount of info to go on to make video's. But that's on you, you're the one claiming this is 'the best skills to get early'... which they are most def not. Tells a person a lot about a youtuber, how they deal with being clueless early game.
or maybe u are just mentaly weak and cant take another opinion...palworld is overhyped and overrated as hell..thats fact..and still i have some fun playing it
Palworld is shallow, if you like it cool but it’s so generated shallow building ability game. Enshrouded you can tell is hand crafted and well thought out even in early access..
The game is great but the classes are a bit lost... not really a class as such more a mix of everything. They should have included daggers as a weapon.
Since there is NO death penalty and unlimited resources in the game, the only skills that matter are jumping and endurance. Combat is way too easy and cheap, game is made for kiddies so far, too bad.

[00:01](ruclips.net/video/BU46ythcxZM/видео.html) Enshrouded blends adventure and survival elements in its RPG skill tree system.
- Killing tougher enemies, mining, discovering new points of interest, and clearing the root shroud at Elixir Wells are the best ways to level up and get skill points.
- Some skills can significantly alter the gameplay experience at a foundational level, so leveraging the skill tree is essential.
[01:04](ruclips.net/video/BU46ythcxZM/видео.html) Getting double jump is crucial for early game progression.
- The double jump skill provides significant benefits for both exploration and combat.

- The investment in the wizard skill tree is substantial, but worth it for gaining a strong advantage in the early game.
Um... Where are all those skills in my game? It takes like 3 days to level, how are you supposed to get any of that
What about controller or summon skills?
A little surprised how combat focused your top picks are.
How is updraft not a must have or the one that reduces glider stamina consumption
Haven't needed those throughout our whole playthrough except in maybe really niche situations honestly.
Not necessary at all.
if base Stam can get you off a spire it's really not necessary
@@LegacyGamingUS It's more of an exploration skill and I've found it very useful.
I wonder if you can heal yourself with the Healer tree and spells, or only others ?
You can with channel heal and it's amazing. But the best heals for solo is definitely the two points that heal you per second based on int... it's amazing. I heal like 10hp per second.
@@BattleR0x what is that pls can you explain... is that skills or items or gears that give 2 points heal?
@TheHonorq8 the skills in the mage tree, they are called water aura and you can get healing persecond based on ur int state. I just build a paladin that uses that and the fire damage per second to just stand and kill stuff around me lol
God damn, man. You really had to bloviate to hit that 8 minute mark.
How many skill points can you get? Would be good to know, because I want a little of everything, but don't know if I'll be spreading myself too thin.
I'm assuming this is Xbox I searched it on PS5 and can't find it
You can use a controller for this game on steam, too
God damnit i want to watch this video so badly ! But refuse to watch about games i cant play ! Lol ! I know your content is always premium! Another time hopefully!
🤘
Double jump is only good if you are bad at the game imo
I have a rtx 4060 and a i712700k with 16gb ram is my pc capable to run this game
Yes, just not on max settings
@@bigvex8688 alright thx bro
1st . Love from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤
What skills you get depends on what build you're going for. Getting Veteran and Blood Rage on a Mage build is a complete waste of skill points.
... you show skills at the ends of multiple skill trees and think these are skills to get 'early'? .... This is a BS guide lol
You also completely missed just as important or more important skills depending on your combat type.
I've lost all respect from this channel after there take on Palworld it just shows how bias these content creators are
Their views didn't align with yours = bias? That's a weird take.
Womp womp.
or maybe u are just mentaly weak and cant take another opinion...palworld is overhyped and overrated as hell..thats fact..and still i have some fun playing it
Palworld is shallow, if you like it cool but it’s so generated shallow building ability game.
Enshrouded you can tell is hand crafted and well thought out even in early access..
Go whine somewhere else
Useless video, so generic
The game is great but the classes are a bit lost... not really a class as such more a mix of everything. They should have included daggers as a weapon.
I'm sure they have more planned for full release
Since there is NO death penalty and unlimited resources in the game, the only skills that matter are jumping and endurance. Combat is way too easy and cheap, game is made for kiddies so far, too bad.
