81% countermeasure resilience is actually very low. Whenever a ship fires flares it fires 4 "spurts" of multiple flares * number of flare launchers (for some reason Egosoft does NOT give that metric in ship's Encyclopedia entry though, you can only find it by datamining .xml files), so that 81% resistance chance is rolled multiple times by each missile. About your turret group settings - might be different in SWI, but by VRO standards 50°/s rotation is plenty enough to hit M ships and sometimes even S at longer ranges. Setting them to fire ONLY at capitals is a waste. I'd suggest setting them to fire at capitals FIRST instead, which lets them take potshots at strikecraft if there are no better targets in sight. "You miss every shot you do not take".
That is an excellent suggestion about the fire at capital ships first should have thought about that. It would be infuriating if a large ship goes down and the medium turrets are unused. I never knew that 81% is low, still i wouldn't bet on them with a mod that has tons of missiles 😆
Hi! I've been playing around for the new republic but I still didn't get my military license whilst "I think" meeting all of the requirements. Do you have any tips for me? (I should say i'm most definitely a noob at X4)

It sometimes takes a bit the military rank is that with the defensive station or the economical value

@dailyFixLP yes, I actually had to build one in Corusant and that fixed it but it’s at the center of friendly territory hahah
