I used S3 for Gamma World. It worked well. We tried the crossover but the D&D characters didn't have enough hit points and the Gamma World characters had too many.
@@page121tabletoproleplaying4 The crossover rules given in the DMG were intended for the 1st edition GW of 1978. Were you using that edition of GW, or a later edition? I’m thinking the hit points may have changed for a different edition. Either that, or the hit points weren’t properly calibrated in the first place.

Have you ever done any Gamma World D&D crossovers, like S3: Expedition to the Barrier Peaks? DMG pgs 113-114.
